Glendale Home is a very nice nursing home, my Grandfather was there for rehab. He did very well there, the nursing staff are very caring and the therapy department is great as well. Richard and Stacy sound like they may be disgruntled ex employees

I was a rehab patient at Glendale from May 20 -June 8. The nurses were excellent, friendly and accomodating. Thank you to aides Victoria, Basmati and Carly who were wonderful. Many others made the stay a good experience. I also can't say enough about my rehab PT and OT, Matt and Joanna. I will always recommend Glendale. Thank you.

Glendale is a clean facility with a caring and dedicated staff. My sister has been a resident for 6+ years we are very happy with the care she is receiving. All of the staff knows her name: the administrator, OT, PT, kitchen workers, nurses, CNAs, receptionist, facilities, business office, activity director... and they greet her by name. Family members of other residents also call her by name. When I visit I ask the staff how my sister is doing, I ask if she needs anything and I thank them. I recently returned from being away for 3 weeks and a nurse asked if I could get some more lotion for my sister as she was out and the staff noticed that the lotion was very effective at keeping her skin moist. Communication is a two way street - if I have a concern and the person I need/want to talk with is unavailable, I leave my name, telephone number and email, if necessary I follow up a couple of days later. I let the staff know (with a typed note for the head nurse, and one on the wall of my sister's room) if I'll be out of town, changes in food preferences - my sister now prefers room temperature juice vs refrigerated, no more ice cream as she finds it too cold.

My grandmother has been a resident of Glendale for several years, in their memory care area. The staff are friendly and kind and do a great job of keeping my family informed on her health and the level of care needed. I feel incredibly lucky to have my grandmother somewhere that I know she’s getting good care and being treated so well. Watching your loved one be slowly lost to Alzheimer’s Disease is hard but knowing that she’s being well-cared for has been an immense weight lifted for our family.

I can not say enough amazing things about Glendale Nursing and Rehab. Being a professional in healthcare for over 20 years and having a tremendous amount of experience with many Nursing facilities in the Capital District, I can truly say Glendale is one of the top choices. My stepfather was recently admitted to the rehab unit and has received amazing care. The staff are sincere and compassionate and treat him like family. I am pleasantly surprised about the amount of physical and occupational he has been receiving daily, even on the weekends! We could not be more grateful to the team at Glendale, from the admissions process to the clinical care we could not ask for a better experience. I would highly recommend you consider Glendale for your loved one.
