Having spent years working in assisted living communities across different locations, I’ve had the opportunity to observe many approaches to resident care and team collaboration. This community stands out as one of the most supportive and well-coordinated environments I’ve encountered. The health services team, in particular, operates with impressive organization and responsiveness—resident call-button requests are handled more efficiently here than in many other places I’ve seen. It’s clear that the care staff are dedicated and truly work together to provide exceptional support. What also distinguishes this community is the collaboration across all departments—health services, dining, life enrichment, environmental services, and administration. The communication and teamwork create a holistic experience that supports residents’ physical, emotional, social, and mental well-being. There’s also a genuine commitment to inclusion and diversity. The culture encourages everyone—residents and team members alike—to bring their full selves to the community, and it’s evident that individual backgrounds and strengths are valued and celebrated. Overall, it’s inspiring to see a community where teamwork, compassion, and inclusivity come together so naturally. It’s a model environment for what senior living can and should be.
