I am a brand new resident. Others who have been here a long time have shared their high praise. I want to write in terms of the application, refurbishing, and orientating process. Given that my husband of 51 years died 7 months ago, the entry process has been at a very tender time for me. Although it could have been quite a lonely and intimidating experience, it was just the opposite. I received kind and patient support at every turn from handling the paperwork/payment, refurbishing the apartment with some complex issues very successfully addressed, moving in, and getting settled. Residents and staff have been warm and welcoming. Honestly, I never dreamed the transition process could be so smooth. I am supremely satisfied.

There are hardly words to express the totality of excellence at Galloway Ridge. Celebrating our 1st anniversary, we feel such gratitude at having selected what is the recognized standard amongst all CCRC facilities. Starting with a most diverse population of individuals who are open, caring, intelligent and humble. The medical model to my wife and I made the most sense - all inclusive. The dining is superior, more like a fine restaurant than commissary which prevails in the industry. The facility itself is fresh, extremely well maintained, and filled with world class art. The opportunities for discovering new aspects to one's self are endless with activities and events galore. But, I must end like I began...it is the people. We have made so many friends that are like family. It is social engagement that keeps us vital and energized adding to our longevity. I cannot thank Galloway Ridge enough for providing the environment for a healthy, vibrant, active life.

Would have posted 4.5 stars if possible. This is a very nice place, with many amenities. My apartment is quite comfortable and thoughtfully laid out. The food is good and sometimes great. There is high end dining available. There are many things to do and groups to join. The grounds are extensive and there are well groomed trails for walking. The Duke Center for Living is available for convenient healthcare, exercise, and swimming. This is a large place with many residents. Some people might find a bit intimidating, but it's a welcoming and friendly place.

We have been at Galloway for six months. Terrific place and like living on a cruise ship (docked of course). Wonderfully planned community with more activities than you could do in a lifetime. But what makes it so special are the people - both the residents and staff. Everyone you meet here is friendly, welcoming and has a story. There is no place we would rather live than here.

Like many others our age we investigated several continuing care environments in the Triangle area. Galloway was one of them. We arrived in mid-August 2025 and are happier than we ever expected. Galloway prepared a lovely apartment for us and even the landscaper aimed to meet our needs. The staff is stellar. The food is exceptional and having the charming village of Fearrington within walking distance is also a real benefit. The welcoming residents, who came from all over the USA, and from a variety of professions have been attracted here for the many good reasons we are now fortunate to be experiencing. This is a superior establishment in so many ways that we never anticipated. Very grateful to call Galloway Ridge our home.
