My experience with Friendship Village Rehab was by far the best I ever had. I would recommend their services. The results of my rehabilitation was phenomenal. The happy rehab therapists Chris, Ronsted Eric and Bethany helped with my recovery and I am appreciative of their services. The food was exceptional and the facilities were top notch.I am going to miss Mindy and Angela and Kelly who gave exceptional care as CNAs. I appreciated Holly's assistance in managing my discharge . If you chose Friendship Village rehab you will not be disappointed. .

Tons of issues from the onset. Inevitably had to pull my family member and seek care elsewhere due to lack of care. My family member was in this facility for a week and half and was not given any showers, only excuses to why it wasn’t being done. This caused infections and sores due to the lack of care creating an urgent care visit and more stress on my loved one when seeking rehab. I do not recommend Friendship Village and would caution other family members when making this choice .

Friendship Village earns their nearly five star review. My husband and I live far away, and my mother-in-law lives in FV independent living section. She recently has been ill, having difficulty eating, and having to go to both the ER and various medical appointments. The nurses have been diligent about keeping her safe and communicating with me. They have not just been responsive to my requests for help but more accurately proactive, communicating her condition to me and recommending steps to take, for example to send her to the ER when her doctor (OMG Bronson so bad) would not see her, which turned out to be the right call. Two medical professionals that I spoke with during this illness recognized the skill and dedication of the nurses at FV. The daily living staff are also great about arranging transportation to her appointments and finding quality staff to accompany her, and the front desk people are always helpful, whether printing up some documents (that I forgot to mail in) for my MIL to take to a med appointment or just reserving or cancelling hotel reservations. Also, if that weren't enough, the food and service in the cafe for breakfast is great. As my MIL recovers, I wonder what I would have done without this support, as we are not able to drop everything and travel to Kalamazoo. I am so grateful!

Very clean, good food, pleasant staff but above all the health care providers were knowledgeable, caring and dedicated. The staff went above and beyond to take care of my mother. Mom was in 2 different care levels, at Woodside, a section of Friendship Village. It was competitively priced with other facility's in Kalamazoo. Both areas were staffed by caring and loving employees. I have no hesitation in recommending this facility with their high quality of care. The apartments were very nice with excellent care given to all residents. Group activities were very well done.

Friendship Village became home for my mom in July of 2019. In our search for a good place for her to live, we were repeatedly told by others about the compassionate staff at Friendship Village, the residents who genuinely care for each other and treat each other like family, and the beautiful surroundings, gardens and facilities at Friendship Village. I personally talked to several people who worked there, and others who live there or who have family members living there. No one I talked to had a bad word to say about Friendship Village, and this is what we have found to be true over the past year and a half. When the staff is friendly and happy about their jobs, you know it is a good place to be. We could not be happier about the decision to make this my mom’s new home, and appreciate all the personal touches the staff and administration puts forth to make it such a special place to live and to visit!
