Fountain view is really Not a good place to go to. Yes it seems near by but my brother went there and kept on getting infections and sent in and out the the hospital. Fountain view also saw that the G-tube he had was infected and they said it’s not that important at this time to remove it even though he was not using the G-Tube anymore because he can eat regular food. They waited until he couldn’t eat and had a really high fever and passed out in order to send him to the hospitals 🏥 where then he ended up going to California. When it came time for him to go back to fountain view facility after being at California for almost 4weeks the staff stole most of his belongings. Then they said he lost his room because they are only able to hold a room for 6 days. Which during this time they should have told his family ahead of time that he will be in jeopardy of losing his room, that way we all could’ve went to go pick up his belongings. When the staff was asked about what happened to his belongings they all began to point the finger at each other. Anyway this is such an horrible facility and should be shut down indefinitely! I from personal experiences give this place a 1 star rating not just because they stole his belongings however as soon as you walk into this facility it smells like the patients have not been cared for at all no matter where you walked you can smell that odor and they need a bath. I can even remember me asking my brother if he took a shower today and he said they only give him a shower once a week. This place is very horrible like if you see that a patients Catheter needs to be changed because it’s cloudy or you see some malfunction going on you need to contact any doctor to see what is the next step in order to keep the patient from catching infectious diseases like Sids says contact either way this facility deserves a one star rating and that’s all I’m gonna say and I’m so grateful he will not be going back there.

I had a bad experience there. I was supposed to stay for 2 weeks. I ended up staying ther 3 weeks. The administrator didn't want me to see the doctor to be released. So that I could check out the facility. I had enough. The administrator didn't want me to leave. Telling me we can take you to your other doctor appointments. This was not acceptable by me. I felt they were trying to keep me there for ever. So I had to leave against doctors orders. Don't send your loved ones there.

I feel so blessed that my mother receives the care, attention and respect she deserves. Everyone is pleasant, professional and responsive. Whatever concern or need I have, someone always communicates with me and addresses those needs or concerns. I feel that my mother's care is of the utmost importance to all at Fountain View. I am truly indebted to all of you. I would like to note that the CNAs who assist my mother on a daily basis are my heros (especially Lola).

A few days ago my Dad passed away here, facilitated by a separate hospice agency. But it was the Fountain View staff that truly care for my dad and made him comfortable. I met true angels like Kenberly and Lisa who shared a piece of their own hearts caring for a man they barely met. Sharing the experiences in the face of the death to let me know how to best spend those final moments with him. Together we all cried and let him know he wasn’t alone. There are nurses who put on your first diaper when you born, but there are also the nurses who change you for the final time. People like Glenda who strained to clean my dad and give him his dignity. She too was a God-send. Realistically if you expect this place to tend to your loved one at all minutes of the hour, they are stretched too thin to do that. As all places are now a days. But they do their absolute best and are very present. And there maybe some grouchy elderly patients you can possibly encounter but thats not their fault. I don’t know who owns this place at the end of the day are how long term care pans out. But I will never forget the people here and the final sunrise I spent with my dad.
