My mother recently stayed at Flagler Health and Rehab for about two and a half weeks. During her time there, she received excellent care from the nursing and support staff. The lead nurse for her wing, Beth, was especially outstanding—we truly can’t say enough good things about her. She was patient with all of our questions and consistently showed compassion, kindness and deep knowledge. My sister and I visited every day and had many interactions with her and the rest of the care team, all of whom were attentive and supportive. That said, the facility itself is quite dated and could benefit from upgrades, including improvements to equipment and general upkeep like interior and exterior painting. It would also enhance the experience for both patients and families if long-term residents were more clearly separated from short-term or rehabilitation patients. This suggestion is simply intended to create a more uplifting and comfortable environment for everyone, while fully respecting and valuing all residents. Overall, we’re very grateful for the quality of care my mother received from the staff.
