My mother recently stayed at Flagler Health and Rehab for about two and a half weeks. During her time there, she received excellent care from the nursing and support staff. The lead nurse for her wing, Beth, was especially outstanding—we truly can’t say enough good things about her. She was patient with all of our questions and consistently showed compassion, kindness and deep knowledge. My sister and I visited every day and had many interactions with her and the rest of the care team, all of whom were attentive and supportive. That said, the facility itself is quite dated and could benefit from upgrades, including improvements to equipment and general upkeep like interior and exterior painting. It would also enhance the experience for both patients and families if long-term residents were more clearly separated from short-term or rehabilitation patients. This suggestion is simply intended to create a more uplifting and comfortable environment for everyone, while fully respecting and valuing all residents. Overall, we’re very grateful for the quality of care my mother received from the staff.

Today was my Mother’s first day. Two lovely nurses were assisting and were being so kind to her when I got there. The best part of our day was spending time with Rubin Balasundram. He has a wonderful manner and was so very Kind. He stayed with us over an hour and listened to all my Mother’s concerns. I was so impressed with him.. FHAnd R are lucky to have him!! As well as the two nurses and a nice young man that came in to help her back in bed. I will get his name later but he had long reddish hair and wore glasses. So far all great reviews! Thank you for caring for my Mother!!

The staff are friendly, and assist when asked questions. The Facility is kept, and guests are taken care of in a respected manner. I have not had any problematic encounters. As a health and physical re-habitation center goes I assume it is on point, as my mother in law is doing very well with her recovery.

Flagler health and rehab was awesome, the room looked like a home, my mom even thought we were at somebody's house. I've read some bad reviews about the physical appearance of this place and yes, it is a very old building but what's important is the people who work here. The staff were absolutely wonderful and caring. My mom was in room 133 for rehab. We were close to the front entrance, so maybe there are other wings that aren't as nice but this was great and the room was adopted and decorated by somebody and they did a great job with pictures on the walls and making it feel like a home instead of a sterile hospital looking environment. It was a very clean single room and had a TV and some furniture and a window unit air conditioner so we were completely in charge of the temperature in that room. If I ever need rehab, I would go here myself. We have been to many rehab centers in the last decade and it's impossible to find a place that doesn't have at least one awful person and they are ALL understaffed. Statistically no matter where you go you're going to encounter awful people and while we were here, everybody was wonderful. The staff were very caring and compassionate. In the five days my mom was here she was making progress already and able to sit up by herself, which she was not able to when we arrived because of her two weeks in the hospital, but unfortunately, she did not survive the procedures done in the hospital.
