I came to Ferncliff following my right hip surgery. Very positive experience. The nurses were great-and were very responsive to all of my needs-especially pain magmt, the room was clean and the rehab department was fantastic! Very committed and professional. I'm happy that I went to Ferncliff Rehab unit!

After knee replacement surgery I had a non-surgical issue requiring me to go to rehab. The attention I received was excellent. The staff, including the doctor, nurses, techs, and assistants were excellent and very caring. Especially notable were Janice, the Physical Therapist, and Christina, the Occupational Therapist, whose professionalism were second to none. I very highly recommend Ferncliff for any post-op knee therapy. I recommend them without hesitation.

My mother has been here since my father's passing in 2021. I cannot say enough about how attentive the staff and personnel are to taking care of her needs. While that level of care is something one would expect of a Nursing Home, it is the other unspoken part of the care that I think needs to be addressed. The Staff and facility go to great lengths to keep me informed of every aspect of her status and issues. I feel very included in the process of managing my mother's increasing physical and mental infirmities as she ages. The staff is very clear about understanding these needs and are excellent communicators. I cannot say enough about the memory care unit and specifically unit 2B and Pauline. Keep up the great work and thanks for everything!

My experience at Ferncliff was wonderful. I was there for one week following total left knee replacement surgery. The PT and OT were very skilled, patient, and encouraging--enabling me to return home to continue recovery with confidence within just one week. The supporting staff-- nurses, assistants, administrators, social workers, chaplain---were friendly, clear, and ready to help with a smile. My accommodations were clean and comfortable as well. I am happy to recommend it for post surgical rehab.

My wife was at ArchCare at Ferncliff in Rhinebeck for physical and occupational therapy for about 90 days after she broke her ankle. ArchCare was presented to us as having an excellent PT/OT program and we found that to be true. The PT/OT staff was skilled, professional, knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and supportive. We were very pleased with their program and the progress my wife made. We were also pleased and impressed with the nursing and administrative staff. As we were planning for discharge we found out that ArchCare did not offer its patients an ongoing on site or in home PT/OT program after discharge. This was a disappointment as it requires us (and all resident PT/OT patients) to find a new at home or on site PT/OT provider when discharged. We have found that both at home and onsite PT/OT are very hard to arrange. It would definitely be a huge benefit for ArchCare patients and provide continuity of care if ArchCare were to offer both at home and on site PT/OT services after discharge.
