I'm not sure how to properly express my gratitude to the Fellowship. When my family was put into the position of finding a permanent assisted living facility for my father, who had been through several life-changing surgeries, terrible conditions and treatment in a previous facility, the Fellowship reached out a hand to provide us with truly soul-lifting relief. My father means the world to our family, and has served his country, his family and loved ones so diligently for decades. To see the treatment he received at other facilities due to us not feeling we had any other option truly broke my heart and led to so many sleepless nights, stress and anxiety. Specifically I want to call out Mrs. Sheryl Galbraith, the Hospitality Coordinator. I've never seen someone go to bat for my father with so much intensity, compassion and efficiency as I did with Sheryl. She was and is such a gift and helped our family through every step of the process to get my father transferred, settled and made him feel at home right away. In the first few days at the Fellowship I witnessed my father laugh, smile and even improve his speech (which was faltering) more than I had in over 5 years. I could sincerely go on and on, but I will end with this: If you have a loved one that needs assistance in their day-to-day life and you are considering the Fellowship, just reach out. Take that first step even though I know it can be scary and overwhelming. They will help you above and beyond that fear, and give you the assurance that your loved one is receiving the love and care they deserve. The Fellowship is a blessing, and I cannot thank them enough.
