Updated Review for 2026: Morgan, Maeva, Jadyn and Kathy have been great with assisting me and making sure i'm getting all the help I need. I've had some pretty big struggles whethere that be bad caregivers, needing added time or finding some care when I need it and they've been on top of it. I understand with a place being understaffed it can be really difficult to meet the needs of all of your clients but I fully appreciate the efforts that are being made by these wonderful women and men that are working behind the scenes, some of which who were caregivers themselves. I had my first major surgery on June 12th and they were so incredibly flexible and kind and were able to get my caregiver to stay with me, pretty much the entire day, I was hopeful I could get 24 hour as it was something the doctor had wanted for me but we managed, I unfortunately had to go to the emergency room later but I made it back home andd safe due to a friend. Again I will say that the caregivers I've had have been amazing, scratch a few that weren't the best or just plain outright nasty but other than that i've been a lucky girl. keep up the good work- lots of love, Yasmin Also please for the love of God get rid of the AI, it is adding levels upon levels of frustration to the already pretty bad phone system that is in place. I don't need to call and become agitated because the AI platform is lying to my face and making things up or just outright not listening, I'm autistic and prone to burn out REALLY fast and quite frankly don't often have the spoons to call in to talk to the people that work behind the scenes at family resources but I make the time to call in because it helps me feel more secure, it allows me to have verification that my needs are being met and then it also just allows socialization which is really hard for me to do, so I get practice. With having an AI platform handling everything its grossly lazy, I understand being understaffed but when the tool you are utilizing isn't working and just making matters worse for your clientile its time to move it on to greener pastures and workshop better ideas. With caregivers its been hit or miss, with most of my most recent caregivers being amazing, albeit a few that were just outright disgusting but in the past I have had horrible interactions with caregivers who were disrespectful, saying horribly mean homophobic things to me (i'm a lesbian) and instead of helping me fight my dysmorphia, adding to it by making rude disgusting comments on my physical looks or attitude. No one should go through that, noone. I don't care how difficult of a person I might come off as I am a woman, I am valid and I deserve respect just like anyone else regardless of what you may or may not think of yourself don't reflect your own insecurities on others, luckily those caregivers were removed but I wanted to add this as it was a part of my former review and those caregivers possibly still work for family resources. overall within the year/year and a half i've had family resources taking care of me they have improved, at least with my caregivers and my care program, greatly. I only hope the future grows and gets better with them and with me as a client and I hope you the reader never EVER goes through anything I went through at all. you might ask why is she staying?its the few good caregivers and few good people behind the scenes that truly give me hope
