If you are considering this place as a long term care option for your loved one, let me tell you, the place is dirty. I couldn't step into my brothers room without being overwhelmed by the smell. While the staff seemed nice enough but it was difficult to reach anyone by phone to check on him and my family member often complained he would call for help and no one would come or he would have to pester them to get help. Everytime I visited, the nurses were sitting on their phones. The place was very loud at night, residents had their TV's up loudly, nurses raising their voices in the hall. Now I know why my family me.ber had trouble sleeping. The worst thing is how easily residents can obtain drugs from the gas station next to the facility. They can check themselves out for a"walk." My family member was found unresponsive in his room and unfortunately, he passed away. Of course his room was cleaned before they would let me in to see him, before the police sealed it off to investigate. I asked the police about what goes on at the gas station, they knew all about it. My family member had no history of drug use until they stayed here. I deeply regret choosing this facility to care for my family.
