If you hate your relative and want them to suffer for the remainder of their life this place is perfect!!! My grandmother can’t remember much let’s hope she doesn’t remember how she was treated while she was here.

My mother was there for rehabilitation after heart surgery. She was doing amazing until she moved to Sedalia and started getting treatment at Fair View. She called us screaming in pain (I am in another state) and told us they weren’t rushing her to the hospital. Her face was swollen and there was visibly something wrong! My sister was able to get in touch with someone who said they were going to call an ambulance for her. My mom went into cardiac arrest and died. The cause was high LETHAL AMOUNT of potassium, which was documented that her potassium was tested and high and they still did not make this situation urgent, but rather took their time and this lack of urgency took my moms life at the age of 59! DO. NOT. ALLOW. YOUR. FAMILY. TO. GO. HERE!! Please!! Find another option. They do not care about your loved ones. If my review isn’t enough, please read the other reviews! There are more than enough warnings against this place.

I am so disappointed in this facility. My 80 year old mom with dementia fell and had to receive 2 staples in her head, the hospital did lumbar scan and mom has 5 herniated discs which cause her a lot of pain. I go to check on her today and she is crying cleaning feces off the floor , the nurse walks in and back out. I help her clean up and I decide right then and there she would be better off with us. Which brings us to tonight I am going thru moms meds that they sent home with her and the one pain medicine that makes her a little comfortable is not included. I call and ask and found out some one named Bonnie Reid whom I have never met or spoken to has taken it upon herself to not allow controlled meds be sent home with the patient regardless of circumstances. I was unaware that a nurse practitioner could make that decision without speaking to the dr who prescribed them. Now we are suffering and there are a whole months worth of meds that moms insurance paid for being kept from her. To tell the truth I was not planning on taking her out until this morning when I seen the actions of the nurse just walking away It broke my heart . Please please if you have to take your loved ones to a facility do your homework and avoid this one.

This place don't deserve a star. They treat residents awful. Bedsores, lay in bowel and urine, dirty dentures and wait till last minute to call family if something is not right with their family. Had it not been for my daughter working there I would not have known what shape my future father in law was in. No one bothered to contact us that dad was not eating drinking and was unresponsive. This place needs to be shut down.

Please don’t do this to your loved one. My grandmother was sent here for rehabilitation and only 3 days in she wouldn’t be here anymore had my family not forced the staff to call for an ambulance to send her back to the hospital. They ignored all of her signs that something was wrong and she was getting deathly ill! I wish something would be done to correct this for future families going here but this is all I can do. God is good and she is on the mend thanks to bothwells amazing care and my family getting her here in time!
