Fair Haven has changed a great deal on the past 3-4 years. While it used to be someplace I would highly recommend it is definitely not any longer. The administration does not care about residents or staff. The food quality is horrible. Housekeeping is barely tolerable. They have been reported to the State many times. Research completely before sending someone you love there.

Thank you to everyone who treats my mother with respect and dignity. To those who question her cognitive ability, shame on you. I would recommend this facility because of care that she has received. My concerns have always been addressed. But,...have to laugh at the nurse who “name dropped” and demeaned my mom for not having a phone like hers. Seriously?

This place has a warm and joyful atmosphere. The staff are friendly and empathetic to the patients. The patients are always groomed and smell good. Plus I have noticed everyone’s teeth are brushed. I make a point of this because most places don’t take the time to do this common curtesy. Best nurses and aids I have ever met... I can tell this is their passion and they don’t do it for the money they truely do this work for the care giveing experience.

I've volunteered at Fairhaven on a number of occasions and it's always been a very rewarding experience. The staff is so friendly and attentive, and the events are always fun (having the local Sidney school marching band give a performance was one of my favorites). I look forward to volunteering again, and would recommend them to anyone.

Fairhaven is taking wonderful care of my mother-in-law. The facility is clean and is continually maintained. The nurses and aides are observant, caring, and friendly with patients and families. They have always been helpful to patients and they communicate in a timely fashion with family members.
