My family and I are extremely grateful for the loving care our mother received from Aurica and her staff. We are comforted knowing that she was so well cared for. Aurica is not only an experienced registered nurse but, more importantly, a kind and hardworking person who genuinely cares about her residents and pays great attention to detail. When our mom first visited to check out the home, Aurica immediately noticed that her shoes were slightly too big and could pose a fall risk—a thoughtful observation that truly exemplifies her dedication. Throughout our mother’s time at Lake View AFH, my sister and I always knew she was in good hands. The beautiful view of Lake Washington (and even some bald eagles) from the living room and kitchen was very therapeutic for us during our visits, and we would like to think our mother enjoyed it as well. The caregiving staff (Lana, Esther, Alice, and Sophie) treated our mother with respect, making her feel welcome and comfortable. The other residents were also delightful, helping our mom feel truly at home. The home itself is bright, well-maintained, and clean. Aurica goes above and beyond to make the residents feel loved, celebrating birthdays and holidays and even arranging live music from a talented guitarist. My sister and I have no regrets in choosing Aurica and Lake View AFH.

My friend was in Lakeview Adult Family Home in Kenmore, WA. for 3 1/2 years. The owner Aurica, is a registered nurse which was a plus as her disease progressed. The home is very clean, the staff is wonderful and the meals are great, nutritional and healthy. For the Holidays the family is invited and they have great meals. On Birthdays Aurica gets a cake for the client. Aurica is very outgoing and friendly with everyone. They have a wonderful view of Lake Washington and Kenmore Air. Watching the planes arrive and departing is fun.

My wife spent only a couple weeks at Lake View till her passing. We were very pleased with the high level of care, welcoming atmosphere, and beautiful, calm surroundings. As a bonus, her room had a stunning view of the lake. I was also pleased that they allowed me to visit her any time day or night. The owner is a highly experienced and patient RN, and expertly managed her med intake as well as the transition to hospice. Highly recommended.

Mom spent almost two years at Lakeview and she was always very well cared for. We appreciated the attention Aurica and her staff paid to celebrating birthdays and holidays. We always enjoyed the beautiful view whenever we came to visit and the staff was always very friendly and welcoming.

We are so thankful for Aurica and the staff at Lake View AFH for the care they provided my mom at the end of her life. My mom was only there for a few months, but she was so cared for in this challenging phase of her life. Aurica did a great job of communicating with us about any changes going on with my mom and even sent pictures to let us see things my mom was doing. They were especially kind and helpful as we navigated the final days of my mom's life. I would highly recommend Lake View AFH to other families looking for care for a loved one.
