Cannot recommend this place enough. We had to put my dad in a care home because of his needs with advance stage Alzheimer's. He had been in 2 other care homes before Everwood and we so wish we would have found this place from the beginning. This is why I write this review because we personally know the pain and the hard decision it is to leave a loved one in someone else's care. If you come across this review know that, while under the management of Nathan, We highly recommend this place. My dad was with Everwood until he passed away peacefully. Nathan runs a good home with caring staff. Nicole, Andrea, Opal, Des and Karen are true gems and I could genuinely see they cared for my dad, it was more than a job for them. As an owner, Nathan is amazing. He is very approachable and I felt I could come to him with any question or concern at any time and he would always promptly respond and act. He even bought a chair in the home specifically for my dad when his needs advanced, we never asked for it, he saw it and acted. He frequents the home very often. I think that is the most important part of a care home, the staff and the care. But on top of that, the home is beautiful, clean and in a peaceful location. The food is carefully made from scratch and all the residents are all very happy, content and friendly. You feel welcome there. It is a bittersweet time with my dad gone now knowing he is with Jesus free of this disease, but I will miss him dearly and coming here to see him in his home on his chair. Thank you so much for everything Nathan and to your staff.

Our experience at Everwood was more than we could have hoped for. The facility is clean and beautiful. The staff were kind, caring and respectful of the residents. Meals were very healthy and plentiful. Rooms and bathrooms were very and very safe. Nathan was always kind, caring, attentive and available. I would not hesitate to recommend this facility to anyone.

I can not say enough wonderful things about Everwood. You're greeted with warmth and compassion from the moment you walk through the door. The care here is absolutely phenomenal—every staff member treats residents like family, with genuine kindness and attentive support that goes above and beyond. The food is another highlight—homecooked meals are delicious and nourishing, made with love and care. It truly feels like sitting down at a family dinner every day. What sets this place apart is the family-owned and managed environment. There’s a sense of pride, love, and personal connection in everything they do. You can feel it in how they interact with residents, the thoughtful touches throughout the home, and the peace of mind they give to families. This isn’t just a facility—it’s a heart-filled home. Nathan, the home owner, shows true pride not only in his property care management, but most importantly, in the care provided for his residents. Nathan and his staff are always sure to be involved at a personal level making sure each person in the home has personalized care and attention tailored specifically for them. Everwood is an amazing property with a special touch approach that sets it apart from other, run of the mill, group homes. As a nurse who has had multiple patients reside at Everwood, I have witnessed Nathan go above and beyond to ensure each person is welcomed, settled in, adjusting well, and comfortable in their new home. Nathan and his care staff help to ensure your loved one will be treasured, just as a member of their own family would be. Hats off to Nathan for providing a stellar home where families can feel at ease having their loved ones reside in.
