We're heartbroken that Tabitha was taken over by Eventide. We chose this facility because of Tabitha's reputation for quality care. Unfortunately, since Eventide has taken over the quality of care, facility maintenance, staffing, and food has suffered.

Employees are very friendly and helpful. Especially when it comes to the care of my family. My mother loved the food and the excellent care that was given!

My 81-year-old father actually would have died if my family had not been present. The nurses here ignored him, neglected him by doing things like leaving his water across the room when he could not walk, & the condescending doctors asked us if we wanted to put him in hospice or rehabilitation, essentially letting us decide if he would live or die because they did not care. If we had not been there, he would presumably have been placed in hospice. Instead, he lived 3 more long, healthy years. My dad survived because his family was able to take care of him (even though it was the nurses’ job) & when he recovered some, he really enjoyed the social activities with other patients, physical therapy, & communal meals. I liked the birds & chapel. But I really wish I had sued, this is unacceptable. Elder neglect is a felony. It is embarrassing, highly preventable & evil. Frankly, the nurses seemed to have a female patient preference; I saw them being sweet to the elderly women, doing their hair & hanging out with them while my father was being slowly murdered as his water was too far from reach & he was too weak to advocate for himself. My father was a veteran with PTSD & we should DEFINITELY have taken him to the VA hospital. It is truly tragic how this country treats the brave men of a certain generation who kept them safe for decades. I have no idea why they thought this was okay & they were consistently neglectful for weeks.

My 72 yr old mother was admitted there today. She was picked up at 1pm from Bryan east, less than a mile away. They wheeled her into her room by wheelchair and left her there til 3pm, in a wheel chair, unable to walk or communicate with anyone. She had to pee and had also not been given her pain meds that were due before she even left the hospital at Bryan. The room she had been taken to had stinky carpet and walls were nasty. My mother is sharp, her mind works well, her body is weak after triple bypass. Not boring well so far for 5 star Tabitha!

Father-in-law had a recent stay and was released early due to the excellent care. He also said the food was good.
