I feel like I have found a second home for my mom! Everyone there treats her like family. If gives me such peace of mind knowing that she is getting everything she needs and I am constantly updated on her when I can’t make it there in person!! Thank you!

My Mom wanted to "Go Back HOME", not that she didn't appreciate life with me in FL but at 91 she longed to be back in Baltimore area where all my family lived and all her friends and her 40plus years nursing gave her long roots. But none of my siblings could support her care needs and though still really independent minded, no longer really able to live independently, that's when my Mom's oldest friend's daughter reminded us of the wonderful staff and residents at Esther's Place on Pinewood Ave- while there's nothing better than the recommendation of a close friend from actual experience, we still did a search and checked out options across the area and no one came close to the prompt, professional and insightful guidance we received from Leslie Hardesty and the warm and reassuring team at Esther's Place. We know we made the right decision when we speak to Mom and she is laughing and sharing stories of her new friends and hearing her tell us to call back, "she'll be HOME". We are so grateful. Thank you !!!

I am at awe of how your staff takes of Pop Sam.. The smile on his face when I last seen him and someone feeding him also made his day...The place is clean and the staff is conscious of keeping clients clean as well.. The location is good and always somewhere to parked...The dayroom gives the clients somewhere to associate with one another.. Even though Sam is confined to his room, staff makes sure he is constantly checked on or someone actually sits in the room and talk with him.. I am truly pleased at the care given to Sam ..He might out live all of us... Sincerely, Jennifer (Deedee) Pack

I have visited this location on several occasions. No one should get caught up in the trappings of the beautiful homes and the community, because inside this Esther's Place nothing resembles the welcoming and homey feel of the community. The residents sit around the walls in the lack luster and ambiance common room watching a 32" TV all day.. There are no activities to keep the mind stimulated. There are no exercises taking place and very little interaction with the residents. This place should look like and feel like home. I bet the owners wouldn't send their loved ones there. There is literally nothing going on in there.
