I can't say enough good things about this facility and the people that work there. The entire staff is very caring and attentive to the residents and their needs. Great interaction with the residents and they offer many activities and events throughout the year for the residents. Facility is clean and well maintained.

Friendly, caring staff and management , facility is always clean. You can tell the staff has the residence’s needs as their top priority! The kitchen staff are always smiling and more than happy to please and assist the the patient/resident.

It is time that Emory residents realize how forunate this town is to have Senior Suite Care and Rehab available when loved ones need a nursing home with rehab. I have been going to this nursing homr on a regular basis for almost two years. My loved one transferred from another nursing home to Senior Suite Care and Rehab and was delighted to be there. The staff at this nursing home love their residents. The residents are not just numbers. They TRULY CARE! An example can start from the time she arrived at the nursing home when the License Chef showed his skills and she could recognize the food she was eating. (Note: The previous nursing home food looked like mush and often times she did not know what it was and refused to eat it.) I wouldn't have eaten it either. Wes, the Chef, quickly learned my loved one preferred fried eggs instead of scrambled ones, so he adjusted her breakfast accordingly. Recently, she told me she wanted different food because sometimes she didn't care for what they served. Wes came to her room and talked to her to see what she would like to have. She said, "chef salad", so he said that was doable. He goes the extra mile to accomodate the resident's wants. I have been in many nursing homes and memory care units. I have seen where residents are treated like a number. That is NOT the case at Emory's Senior Suite Care and Rehab. She is a resident that is loved! Their love and compassion shows. She is cared for so much better than previous nursing homes. She was one of the residents (two years in a roll to ride in the Senior Suite Care and Rehab van for the Christmas parade. She loved it! The first year she was so excited -- she is in her 70's and had never been in a parade. They have activities for the residents that choose to participate. My loved one always loves bingo. She has won so many times and is always excited that she has won. They have monthly birthday parties for their residents. They have Arts / Crafts. They have fresh fruit and juice available on a cart available to the residents throughout the day. When I initially toured this facility before having my loved one transferred to this Emory Jewel of a nursing home, I wanted to see for myself what it was like compared to other nursing homes. I toured on a Friday and the kitchen smelled wonderful as it was fish day! I could not smell urine in the hallways like you do in most nursing homes. Every room looked clean. I did not see the call buttons going off (without a response) like I did in previous nursing homes. And, now my loved ones brother has joined her at Senior Suite Care and Rehab. He has Parkinson's and was in pretty bad shape when he arrived. But, he has adjusted and is doing very well. The Nurses and Aides spent time with him during his adjustment helping him adjust. He would not go to the dining room at first. Now, he is eating his meals in the dining room. He is doing so much better! Amanda, the Administrator of Senior Suite Care and Rehab TRULY CARES about ALL THE RESIDENTS! She is willing to discuss any concerns with the family. She gets to the bottom of anything that comes up and it gets resolved. Sometimes my loved one will say she is missing an item that went to the laundry. For example, Amanda will have the staff search other residents rooms looking for the missing item. I cannot say enough good things about Amanda! I had my mother and my father in different nursing homes in the late 1990's and utnil 2001 (my father). I have another friend in a memory care unit in the McKinney area. She originally was in a Memory Care Unit in Sulphur Springs. Her daughter has moved her four times I believe. She was not getting the care she needs. Therefore, I have been around many facilities for many years, and by far Senior Suite Care and Rehab EXCELS!!!! I encourage anyone having to make a decision for placement in a nursing home / rehab, to take a tour of this nursing home and see for yourself what they have done. You will be proud they are in your city, Emory, Texas!

This place really needs to be investigated. Most of the staff are not competent to be caring for people.They spend more time on their phones than actually doing their jobs. & i cant believe the nurses ever attended nursing school.they lack basic knowledge about just about anything.

I am beyond furious about the neglect happening here. My uncle has been placed in this facility and the lack of compassion is beyond ridiculous. His clothes have gone missing, he is not receiving his medication, and has not been bathed on multiple occasions. This facility should be investigated for the abuse!
