My mom was here a few years ago after a hospital visit and felt very positive about her care, physical therapy and activities offered. Most recently, when her mental & physical health declined, and it was no longer safe for her to be in her own home, she specifically asked to go back to the place she rehabbed at. At this time, she needed long-term care in the Memory Care unit of 2 North. Our experience at this juncture was equally as positive. The care and compassion showed her as well as my sisters and I by the Nursing Staff was exemplary.

We are so grateful for the care that my grandma Z.Z. has received at Emerson. The staff has always been extremely caring, patient, and knowledgeable. Special thanks to Chris, Flavia, and Rodney, who have always been so attentive and compassionate toward my grandma. For the past three years, my grandma has been part of the memory care unit, and thanks to the staff, the exceptional care, and the engaging activities she participates in, it truly seems as though her memory has remained stable. We are incredibly thankful for everything the team has done to support her and our family.

Emerson Rehab took great care of mom. The nursing and support staff couldn't be nicer and more helpful. Special shout out to ChaCha -- her kindness and care for both mom and dad (when he was visiting) touched our hearts. She is a very special person and I'm so grateful that she helped us through this experience.

Today my family and I attended the Easter bunny breakfast that was offered to our community at no cost. It was so beautifully done from the delicious breakfast to the adorable crafts and coloring books for the kids. The Easter bunny pictures with the kids and the dance party. It was beautifully decorated and the staff was very warm and inviting. We were able to meet a few the residents as well and they loved seeing the kids. The facility was newly renovated and super clean. Just want to say thank you for such a nice morning! 🐰

I cannot say enough about the excellent care that my mother received here. She was treated with great care, dignity and compassion from the moment she arrived. The PT staff, her nurses and aides all went above and beyond. Particularly I want to recognize her nurses Medina, Lisa, Debbie and Elena who always anticipated her every need and her aide Sharon - who was truly an angel. They say nursing homes are all the same, but Emerson is different and I know that because I had to relocate my mom from another local facility that was the exact opposite. I don't think I met anyone in the building during my mother's three month stay that did not leave a positive impression with me. A lot of places have the so called 5 star rating but I learned the hard way that those cannot always be relied upon. Emerson's 5 stars are truly earned and deserved. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
