Extremely low weekend staff with not enough help to care for people right. With very unskilled food service with very unsanitary food conditions that makes people sick. A lot of the staff are young unskilled and not accompanied by a certified person or even an adult. Many complaints with nothing ever changing. Much neglect going on here stay away from this place for certain. My brother was staying here and luckily I pulled him out in time.

A few of the staff were really good at taking care of my needs, while others seemed to be going through the motions. On shower days, they would take you the shower room where the Air Conditioner was turned on and set at 61 degrees. I was on a High Protein meal plan, often not receiving the amount of food I was suppose to receive, When asked about it, they would reply they would go get the missing food and never come back. The physical therapists and occupational therapists were friendly and kind, just didn't get in much for therapy as was needed. My wallet was stolen from the night stand in my room, and there was nothing done besides asking if anyone has seen it. Staff members weren't searched, nor were their lockers, bags or vehicles. Patients weren't asked, and rooms were not searched. So theft goes unchecked and allowed. If i did not remind them, sometimes multiple times, the dressings on my leg wound would not have been changed daily. Even when changed, the bandage would only stay on for a couple of hours before falling off. They would not do anything about it until the next day.

In December, I Santa Claus, was asked to come to your facility for a Christmas party. The residents and staff were very welcoming. The party was so much fun. I hope to return next year. The facility is very well kept and the residents and staff all seemed to be enjoying themselves.

Hey my name is Jamie Butler. I had gotten a broken hip and I went here for recovery. I must say that station 6 has the most incredible staff. Darlene and Cindy work hard and stay in sync. They made me feel seen feel heard. They are so good to the other residents in station 6 also. If I could give a 100 stars I would. Also Ashley and the social services crew are wonderful people. They made me comfortable to be able to voice my concerns. Ashley went out of her way to check on me. Oh and they also helped me get a Star Tran bus pass. I have no way to get to the store and run other errands, like Doctor appointments or to the pharmacy. I'm so thankful for their help. I had physical therapy and occupational therapy while I was there and Zach, Meredith and Jenn were the sweetest people. They have such a beautiful spirit.. Also Zach stays positive and always has a smile on his face. Ok now Reese,he is the activity director and he always has a good vibe. Everytime we pass each other in the hallway he's so funny and he also has a smile on his face. I just want to say this...I am incredibly blessed that I met these people.Oh last but not least CJ has such a kind and beautiful soul. He was willing to help me with whatever I needed. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ I also want to let y'all know that Joyce and Rose are the sweetest and they also deserve a shout out. They work station 6 also in the evening. Those 2 have beautiful hearts and went above and beyond to make sure that I was comfortable. They always came to my room with a beautiful smile on their faces. I have never encountered such a amazing group of people that actually care and are sincere about helping me with any concerns that I had. All the names that I have mentioned, I want y'all to know that I love y'all and thank y'all for listening and helping me with whatever I needed. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I am having a great experience here at Emerald Brookside. The facility is clean and the decor is really on the elegant side. The therapy gym was very nice and had most all of the needed equipment. My physical and occupational therapists, Zach, Rikki, and Jennifer were very skilled and after two weeks I am very much stronger and confident than when I entered. Nursing was excellent. I had just one issue with a nurse who said she was not able to get me out of bed, when I requested, but after I brought that situation up to management, it was corrected the next day. The other nurses were terrific, in particular Sara and Fe. They were hard working, knowledgeable, and pleasant. The aides were very good as well, especially Joyce. The only real negative was the food, which I would rate 1 out of 5. A note to the chef: be careful with your seasoning, some dishes were over seasoned and some under. And please never put garlic in the Cole slaw again. Thanks to a very good administrator, Paige, who has put a really goof team together.
