The Landing is a great place to live. The food is wonderful. Activities are plentiful. The Wellness area features a swimming pool, weight equipment machines, stationery bikes and treadmills. Personal trainers are available for all levels of fitness. The Landing is very affordable when you consider no maintenence, regular housekeeping, no real estate taxes and utilities costs. It is everything I hoped it would be.

Yes, I do love to knit here. But that's not all. I swim in our pool, I'm a member of our Aqua Boot Camp classes three times a week, I work weekly with my personal trainer, sing in our choir of 40 members, play in our Chime Choir (I had never seen or held a chime before), I am a Buddy to our Memory Support residents, I get to help introduce brand new community technology to my neighbors, I help sew needed items to be sent out internationally via The Orphan Grain Train, my husband and I spearhead our Resident Welcome Commmittee to befriend those who move in, oh and on Fridays I join a group of residents who like to do fiber crafts. That's where I knit. Living at The Landing has made me the happiest in my whole life. I am busy enjoying each day with all my beloved fellow residents and cherished staff.

I recently helped my sister move into a Senior Living apartment at The Landing. Her apartment is beautiful, like brand new, the perfect size, with lots and lots of storage. She uses a walker, so wasn't sure how she would fit in. The staff and residents are all so kind and were already calling her by name on the first day. The heads for each department all came and introduced themselves and filled her in on all the little extras that their department provides. The dining room even had a special meal and get together for all the residents in her hallway so she could meet them. She feels so welcome! I'm glad she is able to live there and I would love to live there myself. The Landing is the perfect place to land.
