I have had family and friends here both for rehab and long term over the last few years. The staff here are wonderful! I was always on edge being the horror stories I have heard about the one in state college and Huntingdon, but Woodland is truly a one of a kind place. Huge shout out to their administrator and director of nursing. They truly care about the residents and go above and beyond for them. They are all so involved and it's appreciated knowing my family and friends are in good hands. I don't think this team gets enough credit for all their hard work. I'm sad though to see wonderful people being let go from this partnership that embassy is in with now. I visited a friend the other day and found out some great people are gone. I am truly worried about what the future holds for those that live there and work there. Not because of anything Woodland is doing, but I think higher ups are making big changes for the worst.

Needs shut down. No communication with me whatsoever regarding my mother. They don't do anything to accommodate diabetics. They keep people drugged on benzos which most psychiatrists do not recommend anymore. And lied to me that her medication wasn't changed when I was there when the psychiatrist changed it. Now I've met a couple good nurses there but overall, no good.

A rural setting with a splash of Americana! Nestled in the rolling hills and expansive fields of Huntingdon County, where you’ll be treated to the sight and sound of a real steam locomotive passing by!
