I absolutely love this place! The people have gone above and beyond in helping my brother get settled in.Tim spent a lot of time just getting to know him and talking about his interests like baseball. Larry couldn’t be more helpful in giving me advice. They are truly wonderful people and I am grateful to them all.

The most unprofessional leadership staff of an ALF, Including the CEO. No follow through on concerns brought up to staff. Only promises. No actions.

Update: Moved my mother to Dade City Health and Rehab on 4/15. She has gained 5 pounds and is no longer sleeping 22 hours a day. They are fully staffed and take care of their residents. She is taken outside regularly and now eats in the dining room with other residents.

This facility has become a joke. We are lucky to find one person working on the 3rd floor - it that and this is the memory care floor. There is no one available to feed my mother who can no longer feed herself. Messages go unreturned and concerns are placated by management.

Haven't been able to reach my grandfather after 6 to 10 attempts in the last month and I was told by "staff" saying I need to buy him a cell phone that they do not have a phone on the floor for him even tho in the state of Florida it's mandatory. Out of all the calls I get a we will call you back with no call backs. Fraud/fake business.

I would never recommend this ALF to anyone looking for proper care for their loved one. The facility is severely understaffed to the point where it feels neglectful. There would regularly be ONE staff member responsible for THREE FLOORS, with each floor having around 30 rooms, some with multiple residents. There is absolutely no way one person can properly care for that many people.

My dad would go literal hours sitting in soiled clothes or briefs waiting for someone to help him. When staff finally did come, many times they wouldn’t even change his bedding or help get him into clean clothes. There were many times I would go up to visit, and have to change him and get him into new clothes and put new sheets on his bed. Which of course I didn’t mind doing, but the residents there are paying a lot of money to be there. They shouldn’t be sitting in there own urine in feces that long, period. Especially when they are on their deathbed. I had to have my dad moved to hospice because I just couldn’t stand to see the blatant neglect any longer. And anytime concerns were brought up, the excuse was always that they are “not a skilled nursing facility.” Helping someone to the bathroom, changing clothes, or changing bedding is basic human care and dignity — not “skilled nursing.”

On top of the poor care, the management was completely unprofessional. About a year ago, the facility called me directly to say they had confiscated my dad’s firearm. After he passed away, my aunt attempted to retrieve it and suddenly they claimed they never confiscated a firearm and tried to say it was only a torch lighter — which I already personally have. So now a firearm is unaccounted for and nobody there seems willing to take responsibility.

After my dad died, while we were moving his belongings out, staff took his nightstand — which contained important paperwork and personal documents — threw most of it away, and gave the nightstand to his roommate. When we contacted the wellness director, Her name is Katrina, all she said was, “I can’t believe someone did that,” and made no effort whatsoever to correct the situation or retrieve the remaining belongings.

This place consistently failed at basic care, communication, accountability, and respect for residents and their families. If your loved one needs dependable care, dignity, and attention, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

This place was shut down in 2016 for multiple reasons. All available to read for yourself on Google.
