Horrible service! The evening nurse did not show up. My son did not receive his evening medication. Calling Elara Caring was useless. Complete waist of time and money. I'll terminate this service . I have never seen anything so messy, useless and disrespectful. Elizabeth J. Wilk-Rivard MD Terrible experience again in 2026. The Yale hospital informed. They should not hire Elara visiting nurse for my son any more. Rude and not helpful Elara personnel. As before! Elizabeth Wilk-Rivard MD.

They are friendly and do a decent job except that you never know what time they are coming. They act like we are just sitting around all day waiting for someone to show up. It’s a different time of day each day and you never know when they are coming. They call to say they are coming when they are already outside.

Be careful! They have some essentially wicked nurses on tap. They will come into your home mean as a snake and treat you like a prison inmate. I'm not going to type my whole story but if you experience ANYTHING uncomfortable do not hesitate to fire them. Remember this is your home! Nobody has the right to mistreat or disrespect you!

Avani Vadi was our occupational therapist. My father looked forward to her visit every week. She was so patient and knowledgeable. She allowed my father to gain back some of his independence. She was a joy to work with and we will miss her giggle.

Very caring and compassionate nurses that love and know what they’re doing. I am super happy to have Carol and Dee as my nurses. Great people and very accommodating with my crazy unorganized schedule. Welcoming and very well ran environment. Thank you so much with the help you’re providing me.
