My father enjoyed every minute of rehab services. The nursing staff made him feel at home. Activities sought him out for board games, etc. The housekeepers always made time to help him with the little things like working the TV remote. He had visits in the gazebo and ate outside in the sitting area. Medical Records got him to his appointments. He left with all the equipment he would need to function at home. My family cannot thank everyone enough! 👏

I was at East side for just about 2 months for rehab right before Christmas. At first I didn't want to be there. But truth was, I didn't want to be anywhere except home. I changed my attitude pretty quick. Most of the staff was pleasant. The food was decent. I chose what I liked. By the beginning of the second week I had learned what I had to do to get back home. It wasn't the staffs job to get me better to go home. It was my job to get stronger and better so I could go home. I started talking with some of the other residents there, started eating meals with them, participating in the activities. I made friends there. Before I left I got some phone numbers and addresses. I still call and talk with some of them. I have gone back once to visit. It was wonderful to see those that were there. Above all else, I had three great room mates the whole time I was there. I was so blessed with each of them. My first one got my attitude straitened around and got me thinking right. I am forever greatful. Hopefully this summer I can tell her over lunch. My second and third roommates each were amazing roommates also and eventually we will get together to catch up. Rehab, that was the place to be! Do your work! Do it well! Practice more when you go back to your room. Do just a little more than they ask you to do each day. If you found the things you wanted to do each day then you would get stronger and better. The staff would cheer you on. From the time you came in the door there on every floor and every "department", there was Alot of Hello's and How are you. I found my stay at East Side to be Pleasant, helpful and they definitely strengthened me so I could go home and would succeed at home. I can never Thank you enough Allison and all of your staff. From the bottom of my heart "Thank you!"

Re-post. 1st post was removed To start with understaffed When you push alert button at night expect 1 2/2 to 2 hours for anyone to answer no matter how bad the situation. I was told they only one aid and one nurse for 40 patients as the excuse. The food was always cold and not healthy high salt and fat. Never fresh fruit or veggies. Soup has an oil slick floating on it No baths or showers in two weeks. Bathrooms rarely cleaned. Some of the aids are nasty and cruel. One patient was in tears when aid screamed at her. Reporting this did no good. Patients cries for help at night go unanswered. Male night nurse uncaring and lazy offers little or no help. The employees are sugar sweet if you have a visitor but when you are alone its different story. Horrible place

I cannot say enough great things about Jessica, in admissions!! She answered all of my questions and explained all of my options for Gran in great detail and responded to my calls and email within seconds!! This woman is so dedicated to helping patients and their families! Jessica helped us make the transition from Gran in the hospital to this facility smooth as butter!! So refreshing to see a passionate young woman so driven to help an old geezer like me and an even older geezer like Gran! I am so glad she helped my family through this rough patch! Also, kudos to Allison the administrator! She was also a great help, and is so very kind! This staff is excellent, great job!!

My mother and father shared a room at Eastside for a number of years. Their room was cozy and comfortable and they were very happy and content. My mother’s fear was that they would kick her out. The food was delicious and at that time we girls could share meals with them. The staff was loving and kind. My mother was always grateful that someone kissed them good night each bedtime. The staff became like family, and we enjoyed many outings with them. We couldn’t have wished for a better last home for them. My dad passed on April 5, 2009 at 94. Mother passed on June 2009. We will always be thankful for the care they received while residents.❤️
