My mom has been a resident at East Haven Nursing & Rehab on Eastchester Road in the Bronx for the past year, and I couldn't be more grateful for the care she has received.
Since arriving, my mom has gained 32 pounds, is healthy, alert, and thriving. That speaks volumes about the outstanding care and attention she receives every day.
What makes East Haven so special is that it truly feels like a family. The nurses and staff work incredibly hard, and it shows in the compassion, kindness, and respect they give to every resident. They don't just do their jobs—they genuinely care.
I would like to give a heartfelt thank you to Nurses Stella, Ms. Taylor, Mr. Barrett, Cindy, Brenda, Agnes, Gordon, Ms. Miller, Flory, Pat, Christine, Cristina, and Brian. I also want to recognize the wonderful receptionists, Tania and Imani, whose warmth and kindness always make us feel welcome.
Thank you to everyone at East Haven Nursing & Rehab for treating my mom with such love, dignity, and compassion. You have become more than caregivers—you are family. We are forever grateful.

My mother has been at East Haven since February 2020. The staff is excellent. The nursing department always call me when doing something with my mother or when there is any problem with my mother. Also the CNAs in East Haven are very helpful and let me know when my mother need things. A lot of times Nursing Homes get a bad reviews. I can safe to say I have not have any problems at all.

The people here are genuinely kind and caring, and you can tell they care about the residents. The therapy was excellent and made a big difference for my relative. Before coming here, he was unable to walk, and thanks to the outstanding care and rehabilitation he received he was able to regain his strength. We are very grateful. I would highly recommend this facility.

I'm a 4 year resident at this time in my life that was dropped off here by the VA feeling useless and lifeless because of some type of brain in balance. Thank God this facility has and still to this day take care of me with unconditional care and love that makes me look forward to what life has in stored for me. The majority of the nurses and CNA's are very professional. They are overworked and unappreciated and should be be commended for everything they do on a daily basis. That includes all departments. Very special thanks to Maly and the staff that works under her supervision . Thank you 🙏💓 and fully grateful.
