My mother-in-law lived here for the last two and a half years. Every time we visited, the place was clean and felt safe. The staff is extremely caring and conscientious. We feel fortunate to have found East Bay, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

The facility is very well run , clean & as a rehabilitation center offers many services & activities. I was called by survey company regarding this facility and stated that separate surveys should be done for this facility as I said above the rehab portion separate from a nursing home offers & has great services available. Unfortunately my father was sent there not being a rehab candidate and nearing the end of his life but was our only real option. His mental status deteriorated due to an underlying condition and this facility is not equipped with a separate area / specific care for patients with dementia and hospice care. So it is not really fair for me to rate as a “rehab”. They have folks who try their best with these type of patients like my father but most are more suited to care for my independent individuals.

East Bay has the kindest staff who truly care for their residents and love their veterans too! The dedication that they have to their residents is unparalleled and the beauty of the community and courtyard makes anyone feel right at home. Their service is top notch and they even host a daily welcome party for the families and new residents moving in.

My sister's move to East Bay has been smooth and easy. The Medicaid process seemed overwhelming at first. Katie Crawford was with us from the beginning-always happy to help. She answered questions and never seemed to mind helping us navigate thru the process. Katie is awesome and a true asset to East Bay! Also I would like to recognize LaRhonda Moore in finance. She was extremely helpful filling out paperwork and when we needed help she would guide us in the right direction. Overall East Bay has been a wonderful experience! My sister is happy and comfortable and getting the care that she needs.

I want to thank all the staff at East Bay Rehabilitation Center for the care they provided to my father during the last months of his life. Brandon and Katie were incredibly helpful with every aspect of moving him in—especially on short notice—when he needed more care than his assisted living could provide. Annie and Lorraine at reception were always warm and welcoming each time I visited. His nurses—Maria, Dierra, and Shelena—and his aides, Melissa and Nikea, treated him with such kindness, patience, and dignity. Because my father was blind, they always made sure his food was cut up and that he had assistance eating, which meant so much to him and to our family. The facility was always clean and smelled fresh whenever I came, which gave us peace of mind. My dad also truly enjoyed the food until he could no longer eat, and that brought us comfort during his time there. Their coordination with Hospice was exceptional. The communication, teamwork, and shared focus on keeping him comfortable were deeply appreciated during such an emotional time. I genuinely felt that everyone cared for my father as a person, not just a patient. I would highly recommend East Bay Rehabilitation Center for their compassionate, respectful, and attentive care.
