Every person who has a family member, friend, or significant other at this facility should take the time to pay close attention to how their loved ones and staff are being treated.

I have serious concerns about the way this facility is managed. Eloise’s interactions with staff, students, and patients are frequently demeaning, intimidating, and include berating and threatening behavior. Even more concerning, some staff members appear to be permitted to treat patients in a negative or condescending manner without appropriate intervention.

Patients and caregivers deserve to be treated with dignity, patience, compassion, and respect. Unfortunately, I have witnessed situations where patients are ignored, spoken to disrespectfully, or treated as though they are an inconvenience rather than people who depend on this facility for their care.

I believe these concerns warrant serious attention and accountability. I intend to escalate my concerns through the appropriate channels so they can be properly investigated.

If you have a loved one at this facility, I strongly encourage you to ask questions, observe what is happening, and advocate for them. Don't assume everything is okay simply because you aren't there to see it firsthand.

After my mom was hospitalized with a UTI, she needed some extra support and rehab before coming home. I was honestly scared about sending her to a nursing home because of all the stories you hear, but Dogwood Village completely changed my perspective.

From the very beginning, everyone made us feel welcome. The administration was helpful and caring, and the nurses, CNAs, therapists, and other staff on the floor were always kind, patient, and attentive. They treated my mom with respect and took the time to make sure she was comfortable, and that meant everything to our family.

Her stay was only a short one, but it gave her the support she needed to get stronger and return home. I’m so grateful for the care she received and for the compassion everyone showed us during a stressful time. Thank you to the entire Dogwood Village team for taking such good care of my mom!

My mom has been as this community for almost 3 weeks now. At first, I was nervous. Me and sister never thought we would have to put mom anywhere else besides our family home. Since day one, the staff has been on top of it! They truly go far and beyond. On the first day, the Administrator, the Admission Director and the Director of nursing made me and my family feel very comfortable and has made my mother feel so safe. My grandmother was also at Dogwood. So much has changed and you can tell that leadership has really been listening to the community. Today I went in to check on my mother and was blown away by how clean and polished it looked!

Cudos to the Dogwood team!
