Families consistently praise the cleanliness and responsiveness of staff. Multiple reviews note that residents' rooms and common areas are immaculate, and one family wrote, "staff was always available when I called or visited." Visitors report that residents receive attentive personal care, including bathing and hygiene assistance for those who are bed-ridden, and that the food quality meets or exceeds expectations. The atmosphere feels welcoming rather than institutional, one family appreciated that their mother was "always clean and interacting with someone" rather than isolated in her room.
A dissenting review raised concerns about inconsistent communication among staff regarding patient privileges and questions about the adequacy of blood sugar monitoring for a resident with severe diabetes, suggesting potential gaps in care coordination or training. These issues stand apart from the overwhelmingly positive feedback on cleanliness, food, and staff demeanor.

We had to put my mom, Jackie Wallace, here and she had been here previously for rehab,, so she was already familiar with the nurses. Copper Basin NEVER smelled of anything, staff was always available when I called or visited. The food is good also. I asked mom if they were nice to her, yes, if they kept her clean as she was bed-ridden, yes, if she liked the food, yes, if they came when she pushed her button, yes! If mama is happy, then I'm happy. I would highly recommend Life Care Copper Basin!

The staff is nice. However, they are not on the same page when it comes to asking a question! My mom was told she couldn’t buy food there and that there was a gas station nearby, she actually can purchase food from the cafeteria when there with my dad! I am also shocked that my dad is a diabetic and they don’t check his blood sugar except once a day at like 3am, he is a severe diabetic that takes long acting and short acting insulin. There was also an issue with his insulin and as of today, the Dr over the facility never returned the nurses call!!!! My dad also has a severe heart condition for which he takes medicine to regulate his heartbeat, they gave him his night medicine 5 hours late, supposed to have given it to him at 9pm and showed up at 2am to give him his meds!!! My dad was there for 4 days and my mom finally had to ask for linens to change his bed. I am also shocked that as much as we are paying, my mother was told they do not have Sprite or Ginger ale, she had to go buy it for my dad to drink! I am extremely surprised with the bugs that are there as well!!! We chose this facility because it said 5 stars, I am so disappointed!!! Please understand that the staff is very friendly and this is not meant to downplay the job they do everyday!!! The therapy department was excellent, I would definitely give them a 5 star🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
