My experience with Dignity Health at Home while arranging care for my father was extremely disappointing and frustrating. From the beginning, assurances were given about the level of care, responsiveness, and services that would be provided—but those promises were not reflected in reality. Certain services were described as being available promptly and consistently for my father’s care, yet once enrollment began, communication declined and follow‑through was lacking. Information provided during intake did not match what actually occurred, and expectations set upfront felt misleading. Care coordination for my father was disorganized, requiring the same information to be repeated to multiple staff members. Responses were slow or nonexistent, and concerns raised about the quality and reliability of care were dismissed rather than addressed. What was presented as compassionate, patient‑centered care did not align with the experience. Overall, the representations made about caring for my father did not match the services delivered. I would strongly caution others seeking home care for a loved one to ask very specific questions, get everything in writing, and be prepared for a significant gap between what is promised and what is provided.
