horrible !! Do not recommend at all for elderly sick people Ruth takes advantage of these old people there’s NO proper care the inside of the house is nasty/Dirty all these old people wondering around with NO CARE! worst home care i’ve ever been to and seen . i will be reporting to adult Protective services I can’t believe these old people live like that . i hope i make a difference for these people .

I live nearby, and I sometimes see residents walking down the street who are clearly cognitively impaired. The other day, when it was 110, I talked to 1 such resident who wanted to know how to get to Walmart, which is about 6 miles away. He did not understand what I told him. When I called the home to report the incident, the woman I talked to could have cared less. When I asked to speak to a manager, she hung up on me. A few years ago, a man went missing from here, and it took days to find him. This place is a danger.

I have been there numerous times and unannounced. The owner Ruth and her assistants are such caring people. They know how to direct their residents in a caring and loving matter. They have activities, great food, clean environment and many years of experience. Their residents love "their" home. One resident was declining in another setting, he was transferred there...his health, mood, and overall wellbeing improved amazingly!

The care giver coordinator at the VA referred me Dempsey's when I was looking for a place for my Uncle. He has been there a few months now and we are very happy with the care he receives. Ruth (the owner) is very responsive and willing to help. The care givers all seem to genuinely care for my Uncle. I feel blessed to have found Dempsey's.

First of all the first review is a complete lie. She makes a bunch of serious claims then invites the reader to look it up. Well I did All there was on the owners husband was some traffic related offenses and and a dui. All of the charges were dropped. I am a resident at one of her homes and I met her husband. He does not beat the residents. In fact when it was discovered that someone needed medical attention he immediately saw to it. In fact my wheelchair can access the entire house so I'm rating her a 10 out of 10 on the Teddy Twostumps blog and I'm gonna do a review.
