Residents can schedule an appointment in our beauty/barber salon, use the fitness room or relax in the quiet study found in each home. Memory Care Facility

At Park Senior Villas, we have dedicated homes for our residents with Alzheimer’s, other types of dementia or other forms of memory loss. Our memory care program focuses on getting to know our residents and their histories as well as the details of their lives so we can help create the most pleasant environment possible for them as individuals. Our clinical team is dedicated to maintaining the dignity and individuality of every resident who has chosen to call Park Senior Villas home.

Dementia Capable Care Program

At Park Senior Villas, memory care facility focuses on maintaining the quality of life for our assisted living and memory care residents. Every Park Senior Villas staff member completes the Dementia Capable Care training program, which meets the Alzheimer’s Association dementia programming criteria. This training teaches proper approach and techniques of dementia care, so our team focuses on the resident’s abilities and interests to encourage a well-balanced, engaging environment for the resident. Our General Manager and Director of Dementia Programing and Training have their Dementia Specialist Certifications to ensure our team stays current with training. We develop a specialized Dementia Care Plan for each resident that includes the resident’s history, preferences, hobbies, and ability level to develop care and social strategies for each individual resident.

Person-centered

One of the core components of the Park Senior Villas’ person-centered care is getting to know our residents living with dementia. No two people living with Alzheimer’s or other dementias experience it the same way, so we take the time to learn about a person’s life story, their interests and their meaningful roles to support them in our caring senior home-environment. Our approach allows memory care living to be comfortable and relaxing.
Abilities Based
