Delano Skilled Nursing is a very pleasing place for my grandmother. She tells me everyone is very nice to her and the PT is doing great! When you walk in this building you will always be greeted and by the 3rd visit they will know who you are visiting. My grandma feels safe and is being well taken care of. And because of this reason my family and I feel a lot better with less worries. DSN is so far an answer to our prayers to help my grandmas healing process.

Perfect if you hate your “loved” ones!<br>It’s a disgusting place the 1st time we went in it just smelled like piss and onions.<br>Had my grandpa in temporarily for physical therapy but he remained there for the time being to be taken to his dialysis. (He was fresh into dialysis after a hospital stay)<br>1 day he was out for his dialysis we came to see him as we did every day. We arrived before he did, and waited and waited, until 7(?) which was strange since he was usually back by then or before then. We just thought maybe he went late, but asking the “caregivers” they had no answer.<br>So we went to his dialysis clinic and there he was waiting. A kind women who works there gave us info, how he had been waited and they were unable to contact the nursing home as they weren’t answering!<br><br>Wonderful!<br><br>We couldn’t take him, if something happened it would be our fault so we played it safe. My mom called the “home” and they said they would arrive in 5, it took 15, and the man still waited in the bus on his phone?!<br>When we returned we had complaints as one does. He has advocates and we will advocate. Jessica, the only “Spanish” speaking one available was translating to the nurse in charge who acted dumb, saying the info of him being out wasn’t passed to her?? honestly I could translate much better than Jessica at that, she picked and chose what was convenient to say. I interrupted and covered her face, and what? I could care less if she was mad! She then blamed us? Saying we could’ve went? Girl you’re funny! He’s here for a reason and it is YOUR JOB to make sure they are counted for. And she had the nerve to say she has gone with them, then why didn't you go? You clearly aren’t very good at your job anyway. So you won’t be missed.<br>Once everything was sorted we left, since we have a life, plus it was 10pm.<br><br>Funny enough Im assuming Jessica was who said this, but my grandpa said a nurse asked if his lion of a daughter was gone and the little one too. Guess we made an impact 😹<br><br>Apart from that, the nurses talk bad about the residents. In fact one called my grandpa’s roommate a monster? Said he is ugly and looks like a monster. Then why work in a field where you need to care for others?<br>The lady in charge in the office cant get her story straight either, says something then later changes it and says, “no no you misunderstood”.<br><br>Blah blah blah.<br><br>Anyways, not very skilled if you asked me. 0/10 would not recommend & would not like to experience again!

Receptionist is pleasant and welcoming. The floors are nicely cleaned and maintained. The nurses and staff seem to have great respect and care for the residents. They’re attentive to our requests for my father’s care. I’ve giving them a 5 star review!
