I love this place. The nursing staff is exceptional and treat me with dignity and respect. I have so many wonderful friends here. I’m bedridden so the staff are my only connections to the outside world. I’ve been here almost a year now. I have so many favorites, I couldn’t possibly name them all. I keep track of them by writing their names on my phone with a brief description of them. Some of them even made me their grandma! I’m blessed to be here. Thank you Shafter Nursing & Rehab!

We live in North Carolina, and my mother lives in California so navigating her care from across the country has been difficult and stressful, but the staff at Shafter have been absolutely exceptional. One of her CNA‘s, Amaya, is an absolute angel, and everyone who has interacted with her has been nothing but kind and thoughtful. May God richly bless every one of the staff here. This is a special place!!

We searched for awhile to find a skilled nursing facility, and a right fit for my aunt with dementia. We found Shafter nursing during a stressful time. As hard as it was to place my family in a nursing facility, the ACU was an absolute blessing for my aunt. The nurse Larissa in the ACU was truly amazing. Her kindness, compassion, and care meant so much to our family. She made my aunt feel safe and cared for. We are incredibly grateful for her, and the wonderful acu CNA’s. She cared for my aunt with such genuine warmth and dignity, and her and the cnas brought reassurance to all of us when we needed it. We will never forget the difference it made in our hearts.

I had a great experience during the time I was there it was amazing they treat you nice whatever you need they get it for you they have good foods they have good attendance they are there 24/7 to whatever you need if you don't like something they are good at helping you out if you don't like something they'll accommodate you with a different food or different room whatever you need they are good at helping you I recommend them 100% whenever you need your mother your sister your daughter or whoever you have and they need a place where you want them to be comfortable and feel safe that is the place for you to put them at or have them because they're going to be treated like family they don't treat them as just a patient they actually treat them as a family.

Shafter Nursing Care took such great care of my mother who has dementia. Elena in Admissions was always responsive and caring whenever I had questions and the staff was always so caring to my mom and myself during this transition.
