My Mother loved her Presbyterian Homes Senior Apartment in Roseville. When her health issues necessitated nursing care, we were blessed that the Deerfield had an opening which is closer to my home. Mother was there only a short time before she passed this week. All the staff at Deerfield are not only professionals, they do their jobs with love. There is nothing easy about the end of life process, the raw emotions, and the hard decisions that have to be made. The team came along side of our family every moment as Mother went to the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Trust Deerfield with your most precious loved ones.

They refuse to use the lift to assist the residence. Do not bring your loved one if she needs good care.
If your Family member comes in need assistance for the bathroom. You can consider them dead as it will only be a short period of time before your loved one develops bed sores from them not getting her up and then they'll start giving her morphine to treat the pain they caused from lack of movement.
They are fine with assisted death occurring from dehydration. Rather than use topical morphine they choose to use oral so the client is sedated.
Their practices are inhumane and have been reported to the state.

They do not encourage humans to want life- in-fact they will force morphine yet won’t force water, as in to hasten death.
A patient can say no to something and they won’t listen if it’s drugs, but no to water and they will tell the family they are refusing life.

Furthermore I have recorded the nurses administering morphine and instantly leaving the room, not monitoring the patient as per legal requirements.
