Let me start off by saying that this facility is clean, and there were some really nice nurses who cared for my mom. Otherwise, I'd give it a one star based off the director/admin. My problem is the admin at the time was very unhelpful. For context, my mom was in this rehab because she had a jejunal feeding tube inserted. I get a call from the admin/director in the afternoon saying they're releasing my mom the next day. With no prior warning that's what their plan was. I hadn't gotten any updates prior either saying if everything keeps going well, we are looking into releasing her in the next few days. I said " I need to get her home care set up- home health care set up, her feeding supply, and equipment first". After some back and forth, with her saying that my mother was coherent and wanted to give her autonomy. Apparently my mom had told them she wanted to go home, and hadn't told me. I understand that, but I would at least give the caregiver a heads up to make arrangements , and not just a one day notice knowing she's dependent on a feeding tube for nourishment. She eventually compromised and gave me a couple weeks since my mom was on antibiotics for a feeding tube infection. I literally walked into her room, smelled it, and looked at the tube site, it was very irritated and swollen. I told my mom you need to tell the nurse to look at this. I would've thought they would've noticed before me because it was obvious. Also- when they released her, they kept all the remaining medication, which was very strange to me considering my mom's insurance paid for it. Why couldn't they repackage it and that way i would at least have a few day's worth before I had to get refills. My mom was at another rehab in Gulf Breeze, and that's what they did, repackaged the patient's remaining medication. This place gave me prescriptions. Which means that night, i had to rush over to the pharmacy and pickup her meds because most of them were daily medicine.

My wife went there for broken pelvis.,. I was convinced she would never walk again. The physical therapy folks are the best. They never let her quit. They all have the best attitude and it rubs off on the patients. Very professional.. in fact, everyone I have made contact with has been very warm and welcoming... Jen in entertainment, Payton and Marissa and all the other nurses I can't remember their names, everyone in the dining facilities, Caleb and Calvin in maintenance, the ladies on the front desk. I have personally thanked the ladies keeping the facilities clean.. With all the positives about this place it shows a true reflection of the leadership from Scott.. To all, I say thank you... Mike

My family and I have a great experience with De Luna staff. The facility is very clean and well maintained. The staff delivers great care with compassion and dedication. All staff have a remarkable way of making the patients and their family feel at ease, and their genuine concern for each individuals well being is evident in everything they do. A specific shout out to the staff of the 5 Flag Unit and Rachel/Issabel from the PT department. You guys are.all.awesome. Thank you for all you do every day and night.

Absolutely hands down the best rehabilitation center in Pensacola. Everything from the nursing staff to the physical therapy I received was excellent! The food is wonderful as well. It's a very clean facility along with private rooms. If I'm ever in need again this is where I would come. If there were more than 5 stars I'd give them more..hands down the best!

I can’t give this facility enough stars. Everyone went above and beyond for my Dad while he was recovering from a terrible fall. Steve and Rachel in therapy really made a lasting impression on my Dad and gave him the encouragement to get stronger everyday. The nursing department showed so much love to him and my family we will be forever grateful. Keep up the great work Deluna!
