I cannot say enough wonderful things about Solaris and the care they have provided to my family. From our previous experience with them to the care they continue to provide today, they have consistently treated us with compassion, professionalism, and genuine concern for the well-being of our loved one. A special recognition goes to Tammy in Social Services on the short-term rehabilitation side. Tammy is truly exceptional. She goes far above and beyond what is expected to ensure that both patients and their families feel supported, informed, cared for, and valued. During some of the most stressful and emotional moments, she has been a source of guidance, encouragement, and hope. When families are faced with the difficult responsibility of entrusting the care of a loved one to others, having someone like Tammy makes all the difference. She understands that she is not just caring for a patient—she is caring for an entire family. Her kindness, dedication, advocacy, and willingness to help navigate complex situations have been an incredible blessing to us. The entire Solaris team has demonstrated a commitment to quality care, but Tammy's heart for people and her servant-minded approach deserve special recognition. We are deeply grateful for everything she has done and continues to do for our family. Thank you, Solaris, for providing not only excellent care, but also the compassion and support that families need during challenging times.

I have two very distinct experiences with different people at this facility, good and bad. The good: My mom has been residing in the memory care unit for about 3 months. Her nurses are great and communicate well with me about her care. Her "guardian angel" is the medical records specialist, Haillee, who really is a godsent. This whole process has been extremely stressful and, since I'm out of state, I'm not able to be there all the time. Haillee has stepped up and made sure my mom has everything she needs and is a great companion. My mom loves her. The bad: The financial department does not communicate clearly with me. I have been told conflicting things by different people and talked to like an idiot. While I can sympathize that financial conversations are hard, that is no excuse to talk down to people. There is only one person I have spoken to in the department who treated me like I was a person and that was the lady in charge. The first person we had contact with ensured us we would be able to safeguard our parents money, but didn't follow up until payment was due. She even discouraged me from creating a personal service contract for my mother. All of this to say, because of repeated "miscommunication", our parents are left with nothing. Additionally, I have not had any luck speaking to the social worker. I have called and left many messages and have never once received a call back. As a social worker myself, I understand it's a stressful job, but that isn't an excuse to never follow up. All in all, your loved ones will be cared for here. Just make sure you advocate for yourself and ask questions. The stress and frustrations are worth making sure my mom is safe.

I never thought a nursing home facility would be part of my life with my Mother. I vowed to take care of her no matter what it took. However things do not always go as plan. Thank God for Solaris HealthCare of Pensacola. Marty and the rest of the administration staff made the transition very smooth and painless for my Mother and myself..Thank you all, as well as Sharon, Courtney, Tammy, Chastity, Shantivia, Holly, Melissa and all of the supporting staff on A wing. Your hard work and compassion does not go unnoticed. Because of you all, I can sleep at night knowing she is well cared for.

I had an amazing experience. My Mother was there for almost 4 years. She recently passed in April. I must say that her stay there was exceptional. The last years of her life was the best years . My thanks goes to the Solaris healthcare staff. They treated her with the upmost respect. They care for her as if she was their own family. My mother loved them. The care that she received was across the board. I must say every department from admissions, the nursing staff, social workers, beauty services and many more took care of my mother all around. I am so grateful that we’re such a wonderful part of my mother’s last few years. I would recommend Solaris healthcare to anyone who need their love ones cared for when they can’t care for themselves. Thanks Solaris healthcare for a job well done.🙏
