How this place received the high reviews they have, is surprising to me. To say they have a lack of communication to the family is beyond what I could put in words. If you have a loved one in here or are considering here and you want to be kept informed on what is going on like falls, behavior, or just basic returned phone calls, you might as well pick somewhere else because in my family's experience you will NOT get it. I also want to clarify that I have had 2 family memebers here so this was not a one off experience but a repeated pattern of behavior. It was an unfortunate choice of facility due to a family members connections to this facility and without that connection we would have had even less of an idea of what was going on behind the walls. In addition to the extreme lack of professionalism from the staff in the capactiy of communication, when we could get phone calls, the answer was either deflection or empty promises of more consistent communication with lackluster apologies. The staff directly interacting with my family members in there were mostly kind and supportive but the administrators, social worker, etc. Are where the break down occurs which is so disappointing because it unfortunately reflects on the entire facility. There are so many issues I could express that occurred at this facility but for anyone considering this facility, I would advise you to look elsewhere. The best thing I can say is that they kept our family members alive with around the clock care we could not provide in home at the time, which is at best the bare minimum. If this is your first experience with care in this capacity and you are hoping the staff, who does this line of work everyday, can help you in any way as far as what options are available, the process, etc. you unfortunately are on your own. You will be your own advocate and any help received is best sought out from another source. Edit: I would like to add now that there is a business response, if the main issue I am stating is communication, how would me reaching out AGAIN for communication solve any of these issues? You have heard directly from me and my family members many times and have our contact. If this is an attempt to save face to our family, it is months and months too late. The family members are no longer there. This was just my family experience that I would not want other families to experience and wanted others to know before making a very important decision.

The staff and nurses here are excellent. Caring and will go out of their way to help. And the ppl in the front offices have helped me every step of the way getting my mom comfortable and helping get her in Medicaid. So thankful for everyone at this facility.

I am here for recovery and the nurses on both day and night shift are so helpful. The PT and OT staff keep you moving to get better quicker so you can go back home quicker. Now the food can be a little better.
