The reason that I chose an agency rather than a private sitter was the responsibility of the agency to provide a caregiver even when the scheduled caregiver is not able to provide service. However, during the year and 3 months that Caregivers by Linda was providing services for my mother, there were 2 days which they were unable to provide caregivers and I had to take time off from work to stay home. This was without notice which I in turn had to pass on to my boss. There was minimal apology for these situations. In addition, there was a situation where a piece of my furniture was damaged. The caregiver covered the damage up with laundry and didn't inform me and never admitted to it. When I tried to talk to Linda about it, she "was not in the office" according to Andrea. Although others told me that they were able to get Linda when they called into the office. And Linda never returned my calls. We payed our bill in a timely manner and even expressed appreciation for caregivers that went the extra mile with Mom. I'm stuck with the damaged furniture approximately $750 to repair.

Owner personally attended a guardianship appointment with one of her clients. I was impressed by her professionalism and level of concern for the client. It reflected well on the company as a whole.
