I didnt care much for any room and board places for dementia, but this was the only place that will accept my dad. He had been turned down for 60 plus placement locations, and this place was the only one available for him. And I wondered if the name was a hype. But then I realize the D apostrophe isn't short for the best, it could be for Dee for the administrator who took care of our dad, her name is Dinah. She and her brother Dante looked after our dad. Slowly our dad warmed up to her and her brother. The location of the place is kind of far for us to get to, as we lived in the LA area. But Dinah and Dante were so loving and nice. They treated our dad as if he was their dad. I am also surprised that she sent pictures and videos almost every day of Dad and what he's doing and how he's doing. And in every photo, we see that he has a change of clothes, even when we went to visit Dinah, We see that it is a change of clothes. They do not just put on a different clothes, take photos of him, and then remove the clothes. Dad is very difficult to take care of. They made extreme effort to make dad as comfortable as possible, having him listen to his favorite music and atimulating him by talking with him daily. D'best does not disappoint! Thank you for your siligence and patience!!!!
