Went to get my son's ashes when my ex wife passed away. This establishment refuses to give me them. By Florida law I have rights to said ashes. I was the one who signed for them and paid for them. Beware of this home as they get no proof on who has rights. They are using a power of attorney as the person who has rights as the executor. This person doesn't have those rights or the mortuary wouldn't be in contact with me while we try and contact her true next of kin.

Don't ever go by "Google Reviews" alone. However this place is beautiful, patients in the halls are happy moving around the premises. The atmosphere is inviting, clean, and even decorated. The care and concerned nursing care is second to none. The medical conferences with family members is awesome. I have never seen a long-term medical recovery center as nice as this. This place is in no way fake. Physical Therapy is one of the best around as far as I'm concerned. Every facet of this facility screams concern for their patients. Whoever is running this facility my hat is off to you. Anyplace can run a Business, you have somehow been able to bottle "CONCERN" in your care facility. To the Facility Staff and Management, please don't ever change, all of you do an irreplaceable service for your patients that are all going through the scariest time of their lives . People really do recognize the service you do.

My mom was a hospice patient and passed away yesterday. I drove down from Ohio to be with her in her final days. I spent 4 very long days and nights at the nursing home and I would like to shout out to several staff members that went out of their way to comfort us and take care of mom and our family. Heather 1st shift nurse in the back, Kelly 2nd shift nurse in the back. Tasha and Rose nurse aides for mom and there was a young lady on 3rd shift who was also an aide. You guys are amazing and need to be recognized for your care and compassion. There were times that we laughed and times we cried together and times that y’all were right there for me as my world collapsed around me. I cannot thank you enough for sharing your stories of your time with mom and just being there by our side for comfort and most of all the best care for mom. Thank you ❤️

I work for a medical transport company. We recently helped transport/evacuate patients from Crystal River Health and Rehab to Ocala in an effort to prepare for the hurricane. Upon my first arrival I recognized how organized the staff was despite the chaotic event. My second observation was how genuinely kind the staff was with their patients and our team. Their staff made valiant efforts to ease the minds of the patients. Lenny, the administrator of the facility, was calm and collected as he orchestrated the evacuation with a smile. On our ride into Ocala with the patients I had opportunity to speak with them. Most had been at the facility for a few years. The general consensus of the patients was how nice and attentive the nurses and aids are. Patient care is an obvious priority in this rehab, which is refreshing to see.

My dad has been a resident for a few years now. I never thought having him a nursing home would be a positive experience, but it has been wonderful. This really has been a home, and the staff his family. He had been in other assisted living facilities prior and Crystal River Health and Rehab have far surpassed them with the quality of integrated care, exceptional communication and great food (which we all know is the most important part). I am grateful beyond words to the family we have made in this amazing place. Eternally grateful.
