Crane Meadows Assisted Living is a wonderful place for senior citizens ready for assisted living. My sister was wasting away at a different assisted living facility and no one seemed to care. We moved her into Crane Meadows and she is thriving!

We feel like the love and care she receives at Crane Meadows has given her a new incentive to live. We are so grateful for the loving, caring staff.

I waited a while and gave thought to this review before writing it. Many have commented that CG has been wonderful for their loved one. We met with the owner and toured the facility with my Dad before Dad stayed.
Dad was at Crane Gardens approx a week (SEP 2022) while we attended an event out of state. The facility is beautiful and very home-like. The bedroom my Dad had was small, clean and adequate. There was not a chair to sit in but there was a bed, dresser and bathroom to share with the adjoining room. The common living area was quiet and comfortable. Kitchen and dining were beautiful. The courtyard was pretty and a nice place to get some fresh air when the residents have an opportunity to go out.
My Dad has a lot of "accidents" and makes it to the restroom approx 30% of the time. He wears a depends. He was put on a toileting schedule, which he isn't used to. I understand this is common in some places, but for him it was demeaning.
He was encouraged to sit with the group and did not have a lot of time to relax in his room (he enjoys his own time). I got a call from him during his stay and he was upset, wanting to leave. It would be 4 days before I would be back to pick him up. When I did pick him up, he cried and told me he was never going back.
My Dad did not have a good experience at Crane Gardens.
When I initially dropped Dad off, there was a resident opening the fridge. The aid asked her what she was doing. She replied "I am looking for food." The aid yelled at her to "go sit down with your friend and I will bring food when I have time." It upset me that the aid yelled. I did call and talk to the owner. She replied that "I don't know the backstory." While this is true, I don't think yelling is appropriate. I wondered what happened when I was not there. Owner and I agreed that CG was the wrong fit for my Dad. Owner is very nice and professional. She wants to make CG a wonderful place and has put a lot of work into the facility.
He has since stayed at facilities where he was very happy. Dad was a little less advanced in his dementia journey when he stayed at CG.
I'm still going to rate CG 5 stars. I still think that if it is the right fit, the patient care is good. I hope that the staff that snapped at the resident is no longer there. And I hope that if you consider this facility for your loved one, you take the time to make sure it is the right fit. Although they take varying levels of care, I found them to be more for the advanced dementia patient. Addendum 10/8/24. After careful consideration, I cannot recommend Crane Gardens. It is a beautiful facility, that is true. But I keep thinking back to the client that was yelled at. Even if there was a "backstory." Even if the CNA was worn thing. I don't think it was right to yell at the person. Even if there is a person that seems to be the "right fit," they should not be yelled at.

I come to visit a client at Crane Gardens twice a week. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Amber and Dennis are always very informative if I have any questions or concerns about my client. It feels like a home environment which is what I like. My client is thriving being at Crane Gardens. So happy that my client is able to be apart of this beautiful home. Thanks for all you and your staff do for us.

Crane Gardens is a wonderful memory care facility with a family centered atmosphere. The owners and care givers are very focused on patient care in a caring and helpful manner. I appreciate everything they did for Terry during his 14 month stay before his passing. Thanks everyone.
