First and foremost, I’d like to thank CourtYard healthcare center for the service that they provided for me. All the staff has been great. I’ve had no issues I came with a purpose which was to come in and get my self able to walk out of here. PT has done their job. I am now as of today June 19. I am able to dress myself. I am able to definitely care for myself and I’m able to walk without assistance and I want to say thank you to the entire staff at CourtYard. This has been a pleasure being here no doubts actually all of staff has been like family to me. No matter what I needed it they provided so I just want to say thank you to everyone who played apart, which is everyone in CourtYard as well as the patients the patients were even good. I even enjoyed the patients, even though some time I had to shake some up, but it’s been nice. It’s been real, so thank you CourtYard for being who you are and continue doing the service that you provide it’s time for me to go cause I can tell you some things that I want to change so thank you again.

After almost 6 months under the ownership of Ensign Services and 2 1/2 years in the facility I'm disappointed that the facility hasn't managed to deal with small issues that accumulate into big issues under the current leadership. Those issues include consistent meal times, putting items in trays (butter, salad dressing), clean silverware, lifts that don't work/batteries not charged.... I've been waiting since October for medical referrals to be processed despite informing management and having them resubmitted. I included the administrator on every email with the dietary manager so there is a paper trail altering management to these and more problems. There are many people who aren't able or afraid to speak up to these persistent problems. -----------------------------------+ This is an update to my pervious review. Yesterday I found foreign matter in my mashed potatoes. I was told by the Dietary Manager it a 'piece of sponge' and the 'pan wasn't rinsed'. No accountability or even an offer to get me anything else. It's just been 10 weeks of complaints about her staff. I'm scared to eat anything that comes out of the kitchen. I've been here since 6/8/23. See my yelp review for a detailed review. The healthcare and therapy staff are excellent. Remember that at SNF is not a spa or hotel. Each CNA takes care of 12 patients at a time. The food is deplorable & getting worse despite repeated emails w/pics to management. The kitchen ignores patient preferences and results in sending back trays. If they fix the food Courtyard would be a 4 Star instead of a 2. See pics to understand the food comments. This is one of the only and best skilled nursing facilities in Davis! My father has been a patient at this facility twice now and he raves about the amazing care and attention he receives from nursing staff, activities staff, therapy dept, even housekeeping! Staff are communicative, patient, caring, and overall great people! CNAs and Nurses go above and beyond to provide amazing service.

Their hearts and tenderness are beyond reach. I would like to thank Som my nurse for everything - she was so warm and tender that she reached beyond the pain I was feeling. Thank you Courtyard! 😁 Thank you social services for ALL your assistance with listening to me and my discharge planning.

This is my second stay at Courtyard. I couldn't be more pleased with the progress I achieved with the help of respectful and kind staff. They helped me address concerns I hadn't realized and I walked away with a positive attitude and a healthier body. I want to show appreciation to the CNAs and the nurses that encouraged me and did their best when caring for me.
