The chef has been with the community for more than 21 years and previously worked in hotel hospitality under Julia Child. Menus rotate quarterly and incorporate community feedback, with special holiday buffets featuring hand-carved ice sculptures.
The community offers 40 to 50 on- and off-site activities each week, coordinated by a full-time Life Enrichment Team. Activities include professor-led lectures, live piano performances, pontoon boat rides on the lake, courtyard concerts, museum outings, and theater trips. The campus includes a quarter-mile walking path surrounded by trees, gardens, and wildlife, plus a quiet pond.
Located just off the main road in Provo, the property is set on peaceful, private grounds surrounded by trees and walking paths. The community operates a shuttle for medical appointments, errands, and group outings, and arranges private transportation for personal appointments. Many independent residents maintain personal vehicles with on-site parking available. The LifeLoop app provides 24/7 access to event calendars, activity sign-ups, maintenance requests, and staff messaging.
