I just don’t understand why this company sends out receipts without sending the invoice either first or alongside it. It makes it difficult to get Credit on issues like no-shows, or someone scheduled to come for five minutes to do something the last caregiver didn’t do, stays two hours, ( with us being assured we will not be charged) yet ended up being charged anyway. It would be unfair to say that this is the only caregiving company that has this problem.

I work there as a Caregiver several months back. I still think about it from time to time how bad I was done .they took hours from me all the time and I haven’t been there long, but I’ve kept a couple of people and they loved me and I loved them. Never had a problem whatsoever .but miss Davis started taking my hours giving them to somebody else. she even lied to me and told me my client was in the hospital, but I had talked to the family and he wasn’t in the hospital at that time. They were sending their friends in my place. .I would accept shifts only to be taken away the day before my shift. I couldn’t understand why. no explanation. Nothing. but I had heard. I was the only white Caregiver there. It’s the only thing I could figure. And then one man I kept his son was furious and called the office and told them that he didn’t need them anymore that they better not send another Caregiver. They didn’t tell me about it so I go there and he said you’re not supposed to be here .I told them not to send another Caregiver out here because there was days that a Caregiver was supposed to come and nobody would show up .no call. no nothing just nobody would show up. It’s an awful company and I mean awful since I have been gone. I have heard so many stories so many clients that have left them because of no-shows and then they also are not a good company to work for if you’re not one of them if you know what I mean. And PS I never did get my W-2.

Entire experience was great, but the caregiver, Brea was outstanding. She’s one of those people you just know she loves what she’s doing as soon as you meet her. She’s went above and beyond each time she cared for my mother and I will not hesitate to reach out to Cornerstone whenever I am in need of someone again…of course I’ll be asking for Brea.

Since my father started to have trouble living independently, Cornerstone has been there to help. Nate also was able to get my fathers VA application approved and now the VA is covering the cost. This place goes out of the way to help.
