I was in rehab here. I had some great nurse and cna at first. Then they rotated cna’s I had some great ones, then it was a couple that have did their jobs. Then the physical therapist was great. Night shift did a great job. They did have up to date equipment. The beds was older. The food could have been better. The cna that half did her job, thought I was going eat anything she brought to me. Please do better

The night shift is non caring, don’t want work. I had to made a grievance against a cna. Every time I went to see mom I had to knock 3 or 4 times to get into rehab part. There would be a cna sitting and playing on her phone. We have never had the problems with this facility or nurses until now. It’s going to take a lot of changes before I let my mom go back to this facility if needed.

Staff showing mistreatment of patients who suffer from Alzheimer’s and dementia stating they’re being difficult; how, how is that the staff members lack the ability to show compassion or understanding. Families already have to make the difficult decision to place their loved ones in another person’s care and to see them mistreat them is beyond grotesque.

Such a positive place. They have an excellent therapy and nursing department and the ability to discharge patients safely back to the community proves this. The activity department is always having fun events. The patients are happy and full of smiles. This is the best nursing home I’ve seen in years!!!

I have never seen such disregard for common decency in a medical institution. The patients are largely ignored, as are the requests of family members. When dealing with family members, the demeanor of the staff ranges from indifferent to hostile, with most being extremely rude. I've witnessed patients press their call buzzers only to have the nurses turn them off and ignore the patients. My grandmother's doctor was supposed to have come a week ago to examine her and determine whether or not she needed to remain on oxygen. He has not seen her. I expressed concern about this and the fact that my grandmother, who is a diabetic with dementia, was being given too many sweets. I was angrily informed that "she has the right to have whatever she wants, and it's her business if she wants sweets." Thankfully, she will be released in a few days, if the neglect does not cause her further harm.
