My mother was a resident in memory care for approximately 6 months. she was treated well by floor staff but management was a different story, after some behavioral she was sent out and dumped at St Luke's. where she has been for two months with a dozen falls half of those being head injuries, as copper springs has refused to take my mother back claiming non-payment. that being falsely credited as only a mouth prior management had her signing a check for over $6000.00. I would rethink sending a loved one to Copper Springs as the management is corrupt and only care about is money not the job of care for residents and their wellbeing. Is obvious that they can't handle memory care. this place should have some IJ tags in their next state survey i would not be surprised

My sister thought this facility woud be a good place,l. It looked nice, close to home for visits. The management assured her they could/would take good care of him and meet his careneeds.<br>My brother in law was there 4 weeks when my sister was told he had to be moved because they couldn't care for him. This was coincidentally right after a State Inspection occurred. She was given 2 weeks to find another facility. The several times I visited there appeared to be a lack of staff, from a nurse on duty to the CNA staffing. The staff that was around did not seem happy. Meals were skimpy. Telling too was the patient next door had a surveillance camera in her room and a sign outside posting the room was "under surveillance by video. The woman told us her son put the camera up. This happened five years ago. Maybe they have turned things around. Be villigant in researching this facility before placing a loved one in there.

Making the decision to move mom to assisted living was a long time coming and difficult decision to make. The decision was made for us when she fell and had a concussion. We were referred to Legacy Navigation and they found Copper Springs for us.<br><br>I used to work in hospice, massaging patients and visited many assisted living facilities throughout the Treasure Valley and in Ontario, Oregon. Sad to say, there are some out there I would not care to see again. The facility would be dirty, worn or poorly circulated. Staff would walk around with boredom, frustration or anger on their faces. Residents looked bored and unhappy.<br><br>My brother and his wife visited Copper Springs before mom and me. After their tour with Mike, the Owner & Director, they called me so excited and pleased and couldn’t wait for mom to see the place, too. Mom loved it and couldn’t believe it was for real – not for her. This is a woman who doesn’t throw the word ‘love’ around very much and she kept telling us how much she loves it and wanted to live there.<br><br>In the next few weeks, I worked with Mike and his staff to get the paperwork done, select mom’s room and get her moved in. From the very first day, as we were moving in residents came and introduced themselves and invited mom to their tables for lunch and dinner. She’s been living there for 3 weeks now and each time I ask her, she still says she loves it. We watch her participate in almost all the activities (her being an introvert – this was so surprising) and take the facility van to stores. When spring returns, she’s looking forward to some of the fun local excursions.<br><br>We are so happy we chose Copper Springs to be mom’s new home. Every time I visit, she looks so happy and has so much to share – her sense of humor is back, too. I have not seen her this happy in many years. I’m getting to know the staff, too and get such a great vibe from them. Thanks to Stephanie, Wes, Brandon, TJ, Hannah and Brooke!

My mom never wanted to be put in a facility. Sadly she reached the point that it was no longer safe for her to be on her own. Mike and his team went WAY beyond the status quo to make her comfortable. I cannot express enough how kind and genuine Mike and his staff are. My mom was only there about 6 weeks before passing, but in that time she came to love Tristan and the team. She was an extreme introvert and shied away from group settings. She never felt pressured, judged, or unsafe; and in a short period of time, the staff had brought her out of her shell. The entire staff treated her with so much dignity and respect. This is not a business to them, this is a passion, loving on their residents and providing as much comfort as possible. I will forever be grateful for the time my mom had at Copper Springs, and to the team that saw her safely to the other side with such dignity.
