This is the most unprofessional home health I’ve ever worked for. Brandi in the office speaks to the clients like they are dogs majority of the time. I wouldn’t recommend this company to ANYONE!!!!

They are absolutely awful. Can't even cover the shifts they are supposed too. How can you do a job like that and leave customer without any information. These are seniors and they deserve respect. You suck continued care.

They are liars!!! They came out to evaluate my father and they went back to their company and said our house was dirty and messy and because we had dogs that barked and said that my father rushed her out to smoke a cigarette (WHICH NONE OF THESE IS TRUE except the dogs barking but thats because there was someone new in our house.) Worst company ever!!!

Inconsistent. Aides sometimes don't show and their office knows and still do not contact patient or family. Just happened again. Some aides are very poorly trained and do minimal to nothing. If you finally get someone that stays at the company for more than a couple weeks they just float them around. When patients and aides finally get things into a system, they change the aide. There are so many other grievances with this company. Terrible. Just filed a complaint with the office. The aide was on the couch asleep with a jacket over the head, and apparently been that way for two hours prior to me coming in. Naturally this didn’t warrant having the aide leave but a call telling her “we don’t do that.” This aide is new to my relative today because yesterday’s didn’t call (until the evening) or show up, and wasn’t there the day before either. I’m notifying the state this time because they’re defrauding the govt and only going to let this happen to the next client.

Yes. Continuing Care is a Medicare-certified home health agency, so Medicare Part A or Part B pays in full for skilled nursing, therapy and home health aide visits when a doctor orders them and the patient is homebound. There is no copay for covered home health visits. Medicare rates the agency's quality of patient care 1.0 out of 5 stars.
For Medicare to pay, yes: a doctor, nurse practitioner or physician assistant must certify that care is needed and sign a plan of care. Families can call the agency first, and the agency will usually contact the doctor to arrange the order. Ongoing help with bathing, meals and companionship is a different service, non-medical home care, which needs no referral.
