My Mom fell and broke her Femur in March. She was in the RCC at IRMC for a month. When she was discharged to go home, it was suggested by the RCC team that VNA Concordia come to her house for physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy due to having a stroke while in the RCC. I do not have any experience with any agencies such as VNA so I took RCC's suggestion. The week after she was discharged from RCC the Nurse came out for an assessment, PT started as well as OT. Speech never showed up at all even though I had asked about it many, many times. I have medical POA over my Mom due to her age and having the stroke. She doesn't understand everything that she is being told so I have to explain it to her in terms she will understand. VNA has a copy of this paperwork as I gave it to them during the assessment appointment. I work full time and can't be at my Mom's house every time the therapists came because it was several times a week at first. Nobody ever kept me informed and physical therapy discharged my Mom with no explanation to me and they didn't wait for her follow up with the doctor who, at the follow up appointment, told me that he was going to order physical therapy to continue. They have never returned, again, no communication with me via phone or mail to explain why they discharged despite the doctor ordering therapy. I found out about this from the occupational therapist. OT continued for another couple weeks but in turn discharged. If you can get any other agency to take care of your loved one please do.

My husband has had VNA since June 2025 and they have been outstanding. Reba the nurse was a big part of saving his life with her nursing skills. We cannot leave Leeann out as she's great at her job too. These ladies are so nice and understanding. We only had Jill once but she was awesome to. I would recommend all three of these outstanding women at the VNA!

They came on the first day and then told my mother they would come at 10:30 am the next day; however, they never showed up. When she called them they said she wasn't assigned a time in the schedule and would be transferred to scheduling. She was put on hold for several minutes and then hung up on. When she called back she was told she was put on a pickup list that someone would get to her by the end of the day. No apology was given for the missed appointment or hanging up on her. This service seems to lack serious professionalism and organization. I recommend shopping around for other nursing services first.
