The staff and accommodations at the Addison at Moorehead Place made our family very confident in selecting this facility when helping my eldest sister choose an appropriate assisted living facility. It is very nice and clean, all on one level and has a state-of-the-art fall detection system. The staff assisted with making move-in easy, and since she’s been there have been most helpful in providing her with the assistance and attention she needs. All interactions our family has witnessed have demonstrated a friendly, kind, compassionate staff. They are cognizant of the challenges residents face in transitioning from an independent to a more dependent living environment and try to do things to make the transition easier. It’s a very personalized and personal environment, which is made possible because there are a limited number of residents, approximately 40. If you are considering assisted living care for a loved one, I would not hesitate to recommend this facility. Thanks Sherri and your wonderful staff for all you do to make Marie’s experience a positive one!

After the realization that my father would not be returning to independent living, the immediate search for the best situation began. My mother and I toured several of the personal care homes in the area, but there was no question in my mind where I wanted them to be. Sherri and Moorehead made this tough transition to move both my parents into personal care one that brought great peace of mind. After spending a good bit of time there after their move and interacting with the fantastic care staff, I 100% confident it was the best decision.

It has been a year now since my parents moved into Moorehead Place and we are highly satisfied with their care and life there. From day one the staff was welcoming, supportive and very helpful - especially Sherri, the Community Relations Director! She has been helpful beyond our expectations and attentive to helping my parents get adjusted. The staff are kind, caring and encouraging. They check in regularly to ensure all residents are coming to the dining room for meals and to the common room for activities. My mom has therefore thrived from the stimulation, something we were hoping for! The facility is clean and well-run. It has been a huge comfort to us knowing that my parents have all that they need there! We are thankful. Leslie and Rich

This is a great facility in the Indiana Area. This facility has at home feel, great activities, great staff and such a great community! You won’t go wrong with Moorehead Place!

I have found The Addison at Moorehead House to be a very caring and professional residence for my 99 year old mother. The staff is very patient and treat my mother with respect for a woman with a long and interesting life. She is safe and comfortable and the atmosphere there is bright and open.
