I was there for about 2 weeks and they did rescue me from-a worst sub acute rehab with the assistance of the admissions director. I had a hip replacement at st barnabus cooperman 7/17/26. I am diabetic xs 40 years and had to order from uber eats several times to eat properly. The PT and OT were good. Most of the aides were ‘ok’ but dietary was horrendous. My last evening meal was a small horrible piece of pizza and chocolate pudding//i ordered in!!!! Brandon the LPN was great and then the regular day and evening nurses were good but those that were not regulars were terrible. My discharge plan was very poor and although i was told i could leave anytime when driver came to get me at 7:30 am they would not allow him into the bldg. i would not recommend this facility for subacute rehab because patients are mixed and many people on the alleged floor for this were demented and barely able to function needing memory care and wheeling themselves around not knowing where or who they were. The floors were all rugs and a ‘petrie’ dish of germs as they could not be cleaned properly

Nursing and CNA care was wonderful! True gems helped me tremendously! CNA Alvane and Cheryl. Nurse Brandon, Sharie, Barbra and Anna was great! PT was excellent. House keeping, Erica, was good and attentive. Some days the food was ok. Activity, Victoria, was great! She kept me entertained and took me to my hair appointments. Concerige was the absolute best! A true problem solver and friend. Very friendly face, person and heart! Cannot recommend enough.

1. How was PT? Physical therapy was wonderful although I didn't quite understand what was actually going on until after 4 week. It was a progression; taking it one step at a time. By the time I knew it, I started applying pressure on my leg and I gradully started putting my leg on the floor. I came to Comeplete Care on a stretcher, but returning home able to walk. 2.How was nursing team? The nursing team was professional and they giave me the care and respect I desired. The relationship was mutual. 3. How was food? Regarding food, I'm optimistic management will make some improvement based on patients' complaints especially those in sub acute. 4. How was housekeeping? Housekeeping is also satisfactory. They constantly cleaned the Toilets and emptied the trash; toilets were stocked with supplies. They also vacuumed when necessary. 5. How was customer service? Customer service was awesome. They come in the morning with cheerfulness; moving to every room and asking patients if they have any complaints that need to be addressed. They ensured everyone was happy. 6. Do you have any suggests? My suggestions are based respect and spiritually. Few staff need ro be mindful of their words or vocabulary. It's unfortunate to hear some street language in a place like this, which gives some patients the audacity to speak the same way to them. Professional Development will be adequate for this to be avoided. Regarding spiritually, people of different faiths constantly asked if there is a place of worship, where they could go to pray. In a facility like this, there should be a chaplain available from different faiths to see to the spiritual needs of the people.
